Marcus' content, experiences and recommendations here are the bomb. His advice is straightforward and right on target. I agree with the comment that every business owner should be required to read this book.

Profoundly insightful. Should be required reading for every man.
Revisado: 01-06-24
So many mysteries and enigmas were unveiled through this book. I think some men have figured out some of these things, but this is a comprehensive guidebook for all aspects of how a man should interact with a woman. I was so impressed I immediately bought a copy for each of my sons.

A glitch or two...
Revisado: 12-04-21
I love the story, the clarity and the enthusiasm and confidence with which it is delivered. I would give five stars all the way around, but there are two issues that need to be addressed. first, the website that is mentioned at the beginning is not functioning. that's unfortunate, because I suspect the downloads there would be extremely helpful. secondly, there is a minor glitch with the chapter on concept number two. after playing for about 20 seconds or so, it stops and goes back to the beginning of that chapter. it does it every time I play it. maybe it's just a problem with my download, but if not, then it should be fixed.

Historia
A business parable about how to create a start-up that won't trap you when you want to sell it. According to John Warrillow, the number one mistake entrepreneurs make is to build a business that relies too heavily on them. Thus, when the time comes to sell, buyers aren't confident that the company-even if it's profitable-can stand on its own. To illustrate this, Warrillow introduces us to a fictional small business owner named Alex who is struggling to sell his advertising agency.

Bizarre voice of presenter
Revisado: 03-25-20
Great information, made annoying by the overly affected voice of the presenter. I listened to most of it at or near 2x speed so it wasn't too bad. But when I slowed it down to normal speed I couldn't imagine being able to listen to more than 5 minutes of it.

Classic Roy Williams genius....
Revisado: 03-09-20
this recording is nigh on 18 years old, but it's still every bit as true and powerful as it was when he recorded it back in 2003. it's exactly what Roy has taught all along, but it's great to hear this refresher. (It reminds me of important rules of marketing and advertising that I sometimes forget.)

Thorough, wide-ranging coverage on the subject.

A bit long, but that's because the author really explores all aspects of what causes us to be distracted, and how to prevent it. The section on children was especially helpful.

the concepts and insights are fascinating, but the amazing research behind it to prove the validity is overwhelming. Dr. Cialdini has one of the most insightful minds in the country, in my estimation.

In his first Audible Original feature, New York Times best-selling author and journalist Michael Lewis delivers hard-hitting research on not-so-random weather data – and how Washington plans to release it.

disjointed story
Revisado: 09-30-18
interesting information, but kind of a weird story line. First he's talking about how the Trump Administration is destroying all data, and then he's talking about how fun it is to chase tornadoes. Not entirely clear what the point of the story was.
