Appreciate the author writing this book to help people who suffer from anxiety, depression, PTSD, and other mental illness. It is good to have symptoms pinpointed out instead of mere "sin problems." It could be combinations of all and I tend to focus on spiritual healing. Probably spiritual healing should be the first step but God provided other ways to overcome / to run the life long race of battle. Book is full of helpful information, hopes (of healing) and people: people who want to help and people who go through similar illness. enjoyed it very much and will certainly go back to try out the author's suggestions.

What i liked : authentic, honest, unfiltered, made me laugh, so unreligious, great writer and story teller, full of wisdom and conviction, full of real human.
What i didn't like : couldn't relate my life to the author's life.

Need experience in the world to change the world.

This is an incredible leadership book because it was written all based on the author's experience! I almost wrote to the author, "what must I do to be just like you," but that would be so disrespectful for Jesus 😁. Rich Stearns is a living example that Jesus' way is the best way even in secular work environment. He learned it only from Jesus. He also proves that God uses our experience at work, corporate world, for bigger calling. All of us ache for the poor, the suffering and the least but God used Rich Stearns as CEO or World Vision to lead to change the world! God sees our faithfulness at our workplace to call for bigger calling. All our experience matters when we walk with God, winning, failing, learning, and repenting. Love this book of leadership based on Rich Stearns experience of leading with Jesus.

Love her honesty and genuine relationship with Jesus. I keep going back to her books whenever I'm disappointed in people and feel beaten in life. God's world is more beautiful because of people like her.
