Hard to follow due to format

It's a book, about a screenplay, about a porno. Impossible to follow in audiobook format, and it was just contrived and weird. Who the heck is Dan Loeb?

The plot thickens

The plot thickens and we see the intrigue deepen between the various players. There were some great twists and turns, several were unexpected.

What did you like best about this story?
I enjoyed the interplay between the characters, even though half of them were hallucinations. It was an interesting story premise, even if it was a bit far-fetched, and at the end when the reveal occurred I had already figured it out. The hinting was subtle and the story was short enough that it did not get boring.
Have you listened to any of Oliver Wyman’s other performances before? How does this one compare?
He did the voices very well, and was a good overall narrator.
Did you have an extreme reaction to this book? Did it make you laugh or cry?
It made me laugh at points, just from some of the surprise and absurdity. The characters were believable, even if half of them were fake.
Any additional comments?
This wouldn't have worked out as a full length novel, but as a novella it was a great intro to the character. I would love to hear more about this guy, but earlier in the story. It felt as if we were dropped in the middle of his life, I would love to hear the beginning of the story and develop to this plot.

Very very good story, very very "adult"

The narration was excellent as before, Todd McLaren really does a good job capturing the characters. The twist at the end was unexpected and the whole story was riveting. I feel like it could've moved faster. I was somewhat disappointed with the way the story progressed and the bloodshed.
Otherwise, a great followup to the first novel!
