Confused at times

Hope I don't do too bad of a spoiler alert. This is the second time I've listened to this series. The character profiles are done pretty well and the powers that the different characters have are unique and very spectacular. However at times, for me, it becomes a little confusing which character has what powers and how those powers affect people and objects and some characters seem to have all powers. The storyline is difficult or was difficult for me to follow. The groups split up and the story is talking about one group of characters then all of a sudden it switches. to a different group. No chapter mentioned or anything. There is also the power of time travel or memory recollection that isnt explained until the end of the dialogue. Oh Well. Still book 3 to get through.

Ms. McEnany leaves nothing out, regarding her feelings towards what was going on during her service to Pres. Trump and her personal family connections. She is most definitely a woman with strong ties to her religious beliefs, her family, and the Constitution. She is a beauty, both in sight and her mentality of the conservative ideology.....

Even Better this Time

Decided to go through the series again. This was the second time I've listened to this story. Now that I'm familiar with Brandon Sanderson's writing style the flash backs and following 2 story lines, it was easier to follow and much more enjoyable.

In many story lines, the suspense of; how is Sanderson going to fix this? kept me listening. Hope it won't be 2+ years for the 5th book to be released!
Now it's Nov. 2024 and the 5th book is coming out soon
Every time Brandon comes out with a new book, in The Stormlight Archives, I re-listen the previous book, always a pleasure too.

The concept of Sigils is new for me, if some other author has used it before. And I was impressed with the way Hearne linked his Iron Druid world into the world of Sigil Agents. Brilliant and captivating.

A history lesson on music

Neil Peart's love and knowledge of music took me down memory lane. He was only one year older than me and I live in California. So I really connected with much of this book. His story telling of his bike tours in Africa are written so well, I feel as if I experienced the trip myself. It was the same when I read Masked Rider.

Brandon Sanderson does it yet again!! His story lines, characters, plots, etc., have sucked me into this novel as he has done on many occasions. Just like a pusher, giving a teasing dose of excitement; soon I am unable to stop my involvement in the alternate reality he has weaved within his stories. My life be damn...I have to listen to the worlds he creates.

Really enjoyed the cast and sound affects. Knew the basic story but had never read, and I'm in my midsixtes. Tough to get use to the thick accent of the time and characters.

This is a well-written storyline and tale of what seems to be a believable fantasy based on historical mythology? The narrator, Adjoa Andoh, is spectacular with her diction and voices. Looking forward to Rigante II and others in the series.

True to Sanderson standards

So glad the narrators are the same as what I've come to love hearing tell the tails Sanderson writes. Enjoyed the prologues and epilogues giving insight into that weird Cosmere universe Sanderson created.
