Good fantasy Good storyteller

I listened to this whole series and it's good fantasy without the fluff. Storyteller is great. Characters were personable and well developed. One of the best series I've listened to in a while.

Good book but a bit short for your credit

I enjoyed this book great performance and the story is good too. The only draw back is the length of the book for the credit it's too bad they couldn't have done a two fer on the first couple books. The whole series is enjoyable and luckily the last couple of books are a bit longer.

Sex crazed Vamps

This book is basically sex crazed S&M vamps with little action outside the sexual pshyco mind games that get old real fast. Fortunately the sex isn't that graphically descriptive outside of alluding to the worse of it. I found myself fast forwarding through a lot of the repetitive bite/sex to find some action, sadly you have to wait till the very end of the book for any good action and it is over in about 2 sentences. I bought this to explore a new author and the only reason I got this one was because the Change series seems incomplete I'll try another book before giving up on him but it'd better be better than this one.

I got this book having exausted most of the books I wanted and was searching for something good. This was not it. Listened to the previous book it wasn't that bad and had an ok story teller but, frankly, this guy sucks. He's the type of story teller that if you met him would probably want to punch in the face. On top of that Merlin isn't so much a magician as a priest. Not what I was looking for good luck not putting an icepick in your ears if you buy this.

"Surfer" narrators should be banned!

This for me was a fun listen and the "color magic" was interesting. However I just could not get past the narrators voice rendition for The Prism, Gavin. Why does the most important man in all the land sound like Jeff Spiccoli from Fast Times at Ridgemont High after he's smoked a couple of joints?
