Wonderful mix of Science and love for dogs
Revisado: 03-23-17
The prose and science that make up this book is inspiring.
The author takes her readers/ listeners through the world of what dogs can experience in hand with the life and memory of Pumpernickel.
This is a must read/listen for every dog lover who wants to bond stronger with his furry friend.

The guru to the gurus at last shares his knowledge with the rest of us. Nobel laureate Daniel Kahneman's seminal studies in behavioral psychology, behavioral economics, and happiness studies have influenced numerous other authors, including Steven Pinker and Malcolm Gladwell. In Thinking, Fast and Slow, Kahneman at last offers his own, first book for the general public. It is a lucid and enlightening summary of his life's work. It will change the way you think about thinking. Two systems drive the way we think and make choices, Kahneman explains....

Eye Opening
Revisado: 05-11-16
Kahneman's concept is very well explained. The psychological constructs are very well detailed and the value this book brings is identifying the human mind processes behind flawed decision making. It helps understand why so many theories diverge from actual human behavior.
My only reason not to give it a 5-Star review is : even while the book is very well explained it parts from the assumption the reader is very well informed of psychology, statistical and economic knowledge which the reader may not have unless he/she has already dove in the subject or is willing to research them quickly before going back to the book.

At their first meeting, a remarkable bond was sparked between His Holiness the Dalai Lama, one of the world's most revered spiritual leaders, and the psychologist Paul Ekman, whose groundbreaking work helped to define the science of emotions. Now these two luminaries share their thinking about science and spirituality, the bonds between East and West, and the nature and quality of our emotional lives. In this unparalleled series of conversations, the Dalai Lama and Ekman prod and push toward answers to the central questions of emotional experience.

Nice brief narration of the book
Revisado: 03-17-16
It's very nice to follow up the concept of emotional awareness with the author himself (Paul Ekman).
The Dalai Lama's accounts are narrated by Richard Gene in awesome fashion.
The book concept is clear but I wouldn't recommend it as first read into emotional understanding.
Unfortunately this book is an abridged version of the print/kindle copy.
