Historia
Ever since she stumbled into the quaint village of Tillyhenge and discovered the enchanted chocolate shop run by her grandmother, Caitlyn Le Fey has been dreaming of finding her long-lost mother and finally unwrapping the mystery of her past. But meeting Tara isn't the sweet reunion she'd hoped for: not only is her mother far from the gentle, maternal figure Caitlyn had imagined, she's also the prime suspect in a murder that's left the village in a stir. The locals are wary and suspicious of her, and even Lord James Fitzroy is turning a cold shoulder, in spite of his feelings for Caitlyn.

Great ending to a beloved series
Revisado: 10-06-24
Oh, I am sorry to see these characters go. This was the last in the series. It was quite good and I enjoyed a couple of the twists that happened in part 2. I also love the bit of occult history you learn in this series. If this is your first book in the series, I would go back and read the others before starting this one. The ending was wonderful, It closed the series but it did leave me wanting to know , What happens next?

Historia
Deep within the labyrinth of caves that lies below the lush, rolling vineyards of the Champagne region, an underground city of women and children hums with life. Forced to take shelter from the unrelenting onslaught of German shellfire above, the bravest and most defiant women venture out to pluck sweet grapes for the harvest. But wine is not the only secret preserved in the cool, dark cellars... In present day, Rosalyn Acosta travels to Champagne to select vintages for her Napa-based employer. Rosalyn doesn't much care for champagne - or France, for that matter.

Spring has come at last with cheerful daffodils and plump crocus blooms, and Poppy is hoping that the new season will magically resurrect the cottage garden nursery she's inherited. But with her stock failing to grow and a mysterious "peeping Tom" stalking the village, she's got her gardening gloves full...and that's even before her visit to the local doctor ends with her stumbling on a dead body! Historia
Librarian Janet Johnson is puzzled when she is invited - and practically dragged - to her first meeting of the Rejected Writers' Book Club. This quirky group of women would much rather celebrate one another's rejected manuscripts over cups of tea and slices of lemon cake than actually publish a book. But good friends are exactly what Janet needs after moving to the small town of Southlea Bay, Washington.

This is a marvelous story. It has characters everyone can relate too. The story also has a bit of everything, comedy, romance. sadness and thought provoking moments. What I loved most was that it was about real people in real life situations.

Historia
Thinking all monasteries were like the ones he saw in the movies, Jesse Itzler arrived at the New Skete religious community in remote Cambridge, New York, with a shaved head and a suitcase filled with bananas. To his surprise, New Skete monks have most of their hair. They're Russian Orthodox, not Buddhist, and they're also world-renowned dog breeders and authors of dog-training books that have sold in the millions.

Meet Ove. He's a curmudgeon - the kind of man who points at people he dislikes as if they were burglars caught outside his bedroom window. He has staunch principles, strict routines, and a short fuse. People call him "the bitter neighbor from hell". But behind the cranky exterior there is a story and a sadness.
