I found this story fascinating. I especially loved Sam Caflin as the male narrator. There was so much joy and sorrow and I had laughter and tears. I highly recommend this book!

I was in college during VietNam and later married a Seawolf helicopter pilot. This book is so true to life of the shared pain and joys of those who served together. And how much our country made things worse. Thanks for this book.

The best serial killer story I’ve ever listened to. The characters were so well defined and Morgan was so likable. I wanted to get to the end to know how it turned out and then when I got there I wished it wasn’t over yet!

A wonderful and sad book

There is so much in America’s history that is so awful and this book brings attention to the terrible cruelty of white men against Native Americans. The characters in this story are so real, by the last few chapters , I was sobbing. I highly recommend this book, if for no other reason than it’s historical value, but then these characters will wind their way into your heart. I’m so glad I stumbled upon this book and will read it again.
