Historia
In The Anxious Generation, social psychologist Jonathan Haidt lays out the facts about the epidemic of teen mental illness that hit many countries at the same time. He then investigates the nature of childhood, including why children need play and independent exploration to mature into competent, thriving adults. Haidt shows how the “play-based childhood” began to decline in the 1980s, and how it was finally wiped out by the arrival of the “phone-based childhood” in the early 2010s.

Silence or Forgotten
Revisado: 12-18-24
This was one of my favorite books this year. Johnathan and his team did a fantastic job articulating the reality behind an anxious society. I’ve been on the third of education for 14 years and this was another eye-opening presentation and perspective. As other great books like this I will share it with my network and community circle.

I’ve been reading and listening to John Maxwell for ten years. This book was another great book to add to my collection of audiobooks. And I can’t wait to share this in the automobile university with my family.
Thank you John Maxwell and team for putting together another fantastic piece of art. And I’ll share the practical experiences and thoughts with my family and students.

Transformational
Revisado: 12-28-21
This book is absolutely life changing. There are multiple areas within the book that refer to a spiritual awakening as well as the reality we see today as human beings. I love that this book wasn’t so religious or faith-bound.
I was able to consume this book and slowing understand it. Ernest Holmes did a phenomenal job of writing this book. I truly hope the book brings meaning to others on their journey of life.

The Reality
Revisado: 10-20-21
Over the course of 10 years I have studied and continue studying on the topic of psychology, philosophy, and leadership. I have found Dr. Joseph Murphy’s material rather interesting. The reality what I have found is that no one is too old, too smart, or too successful to learn something new. In fact it this book opens the door to new thought or no idea. It allows the reader to have a different perspective or opinion on the powerful subconscious mind and the receptive and we possess today.

The culture of “safety” and its intolerance of opposing viewpoints has left many young people anxious and unprepared for adult life. Lukianoff and Haidt offer a comprehensive set of reforms that will strengthen young people and institutions, allowing us all to reap the benefits of diversity, including viewpoint diversity. This is a book for anyone who is confused by what’s happening on college campuses today, or has children, or is concerned about the growing inability of Americans to live and work and cooperate across party lines.

The Power of Focus
Revisado: 04-14-21
Over the past three years audiobooks have been a huge important factor in my self-education and/or personal development.
This book has contributed to my wellbeing and efficiency in life more than Mr. Hall or Mr. Walter will ever know. I truly loved the aspect of voluntarily designed attention and how distractions will force us to lose control. This book helped tremendously and I am more aware of the habits of myself and others. And, how to bring in more health mentally and emotionally.
I won’t spoil the rest of this book.
Enjoy the 25 habits ❤️

Revisado: 10-29-20
It is truly hard to sum up this book. I can honestly tell you after reading the paper back and now I’m listening to the audio. I have come to really enjoy this book and cannot wait to share it with others.
The audio was a little muffled but was still able to listen to with no distractions. I definitely suggest this book to those looking for insight discovery and exploration of who they are and where they want to be.

Using his legendary ability to get to the root of human potential, Napoleon Hill digs deep to reveal how fear, procrastination, anger, and jealousy prevent us from realizing our personal goals. This long-suppressed parable, once considered too controversial to publish, was written by Hill in 1938 following the publication of his classic bestseller, Think and Grow Rich.
