Worth the commitment

At the beginning of the book I thought for sure I would abandon it, I was not used to the writing, nor was I used to the dialect of 1800’s England. But I kept on reading despite it, and soon found myself 24 hours in without even noticing because I was so engrossed in the story. It is rare for me to read (or in this case listen) a book to the end (a bad habit of mine) but this one is a rare exception.

I got half way through. It was just a series of ramblings, it just kept going on and on. The author repeated things frequently, she kept on adding such boring, never ending, useless details. Most of the content I read had nothing to do with the description of the story.
