Love Charles and Anna but not happy with narrator
Revisado: 04-20-16
I have listened to all of the series starting with Alpha and Omega and have enjoyed all. This one however, was so hard to listen to. What is wrong with Holter Graham? He should have listened to his previous versions because he sounded so off. The voice he used for Charles did not sound like what he's done in the past. He didn't have the deep voice that is so Charles. So it kinda killed it for me. Too bad because the story was so interesting and went into Charles's past.

So disappointing!
Revisado: 08-01-15
After waiting so long for this book I was extremely disappointed. First, Cassandra Campbell did not narrate, why? Maureen couldn't even pronounce "garage" right. I wanted to scream every time she said it. And the voice she used for Peter made me hate him even more than I do. Second, Wesley didn't seem to learn anything from previous mistakes. Third, we had to wait for 3/4 of the book before Carlotta got a small chance to see her father. And finally the end just sucked! Just when things are looking good for Carlotta's love life, a really dumb thing happens. I recommend not wasting a credit on this.

Historia
Agent Franks of the U.S. Monster Control Bureau is a man of many parts - parts from other people, that is. Franks is nearly seven feet tall and all muscle. He's nearly indestructible. Plus he’s animated by a powerful alchemical substance and inhabited by a super-intelligent spirit more ancient than humanity itself. Good thing he’s on our side. More or less.

I was so happy to read Frank's story. This was one of my favorites. Larry Correia is a fantastic story teller. Once again, Oliver Wyman did a great job with the narration. I love how you always know who is speaking. If you haven't read this series, start with Monster Hunter International. Definitely worth a credit!

Good story, terrible narrator.
Revisado: 09-26-14
I really enjoy the series but the narrator absolutely kills it for me. She sounds fine for women's voices but the men don't sound like men. Especially Dutch. There are so many great narrators who do great for both sexes. I wish this narrator hadn't done all the books. I could barely listen to the first two and had to read the actual books for the others. Sorry, just can't stand this narrator.

Historia
I stopped believing in monsters long ago. But I knew I wasn't imagining things when I found one in my kitchen baking muffins. I'd seen him before: lurking in my closet, scaring the crap out of my five-year-old self. Turns out that was a misunderstanding, and now Maurice needs a place to stay. How could I say no? After all, I've always been a magnet for the emotionally needy, and not just in my work as a wedding planner. Being able to sense the feelings of others can be a major pain.

Charlotte owns a Birmingham bridal boutique. But with her own wedding day approaching, why can’t she find the perfect dress - or feel certain she should marry Tim? Then Charlotte purchases a vintage dress in a battered trunk at an estate sale. It looks brand-new, shimmering with pearls and satin, hand stitched and timeless in its design. But where did it come from? Who wore it? Charlotte’s search for the gown’s history begins as a distraction from her sputtering love life. But it takes on a life of its own as she comes to know the women who have worn the dress.

Her small Christmas-tree farm is prospering, her daughters and her dogs are happy and well, and her new relationship with local vet Ted Reynolds is showing plenty of romantic promise. But... someone recently left a basket filled with puppies on her doorstep, puppies she’s determined to place in good homes. That’s complication number one. And number two is that her daughters Bailey and Sophie have invited their dad, Beth’s ex-husband, Kent, to Cedar Cove for Christmas.

Revisado: 12-17-13
Unless you've read the entire series, you'll be as lost as I was.
If you've read the previous books then you get to see what happens to characters from those books.
The story about Beth and Kent was predictable.
Sandra Burr did a great job on narration.

Decent ending to the series except for one thing.
Revisado: 12-17-13
I really enjoyed most of the book EXCEPT FOR THE END, it was totally unexpected. That's all I'll say about it.
The use of two narrators was different than the previous books. It's interesting to see Tobias/Four's point of view.
Both Emma and Aaron did a great job with narration.

Historia
Former bounty hunter Rachel Morgan has it pretty good. She has left the corrupt Inderland Runner Service and started her own independent service. She's survived werewolves, shape-changing demons, bad-hair days, and sharing a church with her vampire roommate, Ivy. She even has a cute (if human) boyfriend - what more could a witch want? But living with a reformed vampire isn't all it's cracked up to be.

So disgusted, I couldn't finish it.
Revisado: 08-20-13
I really enjoyed the first book but this one was a huge disappointment. I kept starting, then lose interest, start again, but in the end I just couldn't pick it up anymore. Rachel's whining was getting on my nerves. The thing with her roommate Ivy is plain stupid. It sounds like an abusive relationship with Rachel blaming herself for Ivy attacking her. Really? Don't see why they are friends. I really can't stand stupid people and Rachel keeps doing the stupidest things. I don't think I can continue with this series. I don't like being annoyed with the main characters of the books I read. The only good thing about this book was the narrator. I'm sorry I wasted a credit.

Jace's return to Kansas is an instant reminder that there really is no place like home. The tavern is still brimming with losers, practical jokers, and motorcycle chicks. Even the town's only Goth is still wearing eyeliner. But just as Jace is about to click her heels and hightail out of there, she's roped into a brand-new case. Somebody is possessed. And the bodies are piling up....

The story was extremely confusing. I wasn't sure what the heck was going on in the beginning. Then it made a little more sense. I heard it's the last book in the series and I feel it leaves you hanging. Johanna Parker was awesome as usual.
