Historia
It has been nearly two hundred years since Hadrian Marlowe assaulted the person of the Emperor and walked away from war. From his Empire. From the will and service of the eldritch being known only as the Quiet. The galaxy lies in the grip of a plague, and worse, the Cielcin have overrun the realms of men. A messenger has come to Jadd, bearing a summons from the Sollan Emperor for the one-time hero. A summons, a pardon, and a plea. HAPSIS, the Emperor’s secret intelligence organization, has located one of the dreadful Watchers, the immense, powerful beings worshipped by the Pale Cielcin.

The best Suneater thus far. Can't wait for the finale. So much tragedy, and emotions in this book.

Historia
Since he first began the Shannara saga in 1977, Terry Brooks has had a clear idea of how the series should end, and now that moment is at hand. As the Four Lands reels under the Skaar invasion - spearheaded by a warlike people determined to make this land their own - our heroes must decide what they will risk to save the integrity of their home. Even as one group remains to defend the Four Lands, another is undertaking a perilous journey across the sea to the Skaar homeland, carrying with them a new piece of technology that could change the face of the world forever.

poor effort with no conclusions
Revisado: 01-05-21
I have long felt that the last decade has really been Terry's worst work. his writing style has dramatically changed over time to become more and more brief, with less character building, relying on his world That he's built over several decades. I respect and love this author for introducing me to fantasy as a child. however I am deeply disappointed with the lack of effort in this final book that wraps up the wonderful world of Shannara
