Please purchase and listen to this book! You will not regret it! I cried like a baby when they poured their hearts out to each other. Honestly, I couldn’t stop listening. I kept saying I would pause in the next chapter but couldn’t stop. It’s a must-read!

Not my cup of tea I guess… giving me P’diddi vibes 😅

I love dark, steamy romance, but this … this was entirely different. I don’t know if I could get into this kind of steam.

The “bad guy” is obsessed with her, which I liked. The good guy is obsessed with her like that too; the next part is a spoiler, so be warned, the “bad guy” makes Cali give him fellatio and have intercourse in front of her BFF (who she loves, but doesn’t love as much as the “bad guy” ?) and In front of another BFF who is also a guy and a bunch of guards and everyone admits that they are ALL in love with her except the guards. “Bad guy” is trying to prove SOME kind of point (not too clear what that point is) by making her give him fellatio and intercourse in front of everyone while proclaiming to love her. idk I just can’t get into the story and the plot twist. It just seems like it’s leading up to her having them both. Kinda feels like it’s leading to a 3some. Eh, it just seems like the “bad guy” isn’t really a “bad guy.” The “bad guy” is really Cali, if you ask me. She does things under the pretext that she doesn’t want to, but inside, she revels in it. The bad guy and good guy are having a pissing contest, and all the while, Cali gets what she wants, I guess… I’m not too certain what she wants to be honest .

All in all kinda boring AND steamy?… Too crude for me… It felt like this was one of P’diddi’s freak offs lol😂😂 all it was missing was all the baby oil lol 😂 … MAYBE! 🤔 …It’ll show up in the 3rd book 😂 …. Tun, tun,tun TRUE plot twist the guys were NEVER really in love with her!! They were REALLY in love with each other! She was just an excuse! 🤔and that’s when ALL the baby oil comes in!! 🥴

Narrators were ok. I was wondering what they were thinking while narrating the story 😆

A must listen!

Totally recommend this book!!! Warning ⚠️ it is a bit strong in what she has gone through especially in these days were we have heard all kinds of stuff come to light with the Epstein Island and the whole Puff situation but she is an over comer and it’s amazing how we start to see God work. It’s a book of triumph! A definite must read!

IT’S A MUST READ!!… don’t over think it just do it! You won’t regret it!

So I had this book in my wish list, for one reason or another I just didn’t read it. SUCH a MISTAKE on my part! But I’m glad to say that I have FINALLY listened to it! I recommend this book! It’s the perfect amount of 🌶️ and it’s a slow burn 🔥 but NOT too slow. I honestly couldn’t stop listening! You will NOT be disappointed!

It kinda feels like the narrator was purposefully putting a th when it should be said with a d or t and her sing song tone feels like nails to a chalkboard but the sing song tone is typical for this narrator. You would think after hearing her reviews she would take it as constructive criticism and change for the better because I feel she is capable of being an amazing narrator if she would just listen to her audience. It’s like she was purposely trying to be a wretched narrator. I don’t know maybe she didn’t like the negative reviews on her? This was truly horrible! I had to put it at high speed because Iv heard this narrator before and if I thought she could not get any worse she proved me wrong….. I wonder what is this platform for… I guess only to worn YOU listener, because the higher people in charge don’t give a fig to change this particular narrator. I wonder why the author does not complain? It affects the author in the long run the way her book is being read.

And narrator if you are reading this, I hope you take it not as an attack but a challenge to better your skill. Listen to your audience don’t take it personal. You don’t need the sing song voice and to add any embellishments to what you are reading. The different caricature voices are amazing….. Sometimes less is more.

First book was amazing this one not so good

There are So many things wrong with the story and the narrator. Ellen the lead protagonist sounded old when she wasn’t that old if she would just use her regular narrating voice as the lead characters voice it would have sounded better but she used an old voice for the lead character that was unflattering . And she was so frustrating! (The lead caricature) When she had the chance to clear things up she NEVER did. And Arthur kept coming back even when he said it would be the last time. And honestly the love making was terrible. It was just an all around bad book her obstacles were all in her head. She was her biggest obstacle and people like that are frustrating not my kind of book because I don’t think there was ever any growth in her. She was like a victim ALL the time. Like she wanted to be interesting, when she was younger by wanting to meat new and interesting people but I feel like there was no real depth to her she was a simpering ninny. I don’t recommend this book at all. You are better off not hearing it. You save your self a credit and like 9 hours of your life not listening to it.

One small drawback

Storyline is really good. Just one small drawback, the narrator has a lisp I just can’t get passed 😬 and her male voices are not that good. Like the lead male voice is not that cute. He is not giving me sexy, intriguing, brooding vibes. I think this book would be very good with a different negator. The lisp is subtle BUT she also speaks through her teeth. And that doesn’t let me got into the book unfortunately. I have to stop listening then start up again just to recalibrate, Hope that helps.

Song song narrator is all I have to say, 😤😫😖🫨

I HATE the narrators voice when she try’s to linger too much on words! (Like she thinks she is trying to be too proper with her elongated words Like it makes me cringe)😬 I love her regular voice and the voices she uses for the other characters I don’t know how to articulate how to explain when she is narrating it’s like she is trying to whisper. (Maybe some people like the whisper voice BUT NOT EVERYONE so if you DONT like the whisper voice I don’t think you’ll like this book) I guess you can just go buy the book I think the book story is GOOOD🫶🏻 it’s just the narrators whisper voice I JUST CANT!! Like when she is trying and just talk regularly it’s good or oven when she does the other male voice and LITERALLY ANY OTHER Character it’s just her narrator, Voice that reminds me of nails to chalk but not all the time it’s just like when she remembers to “try” to make her voice sound I guess smooth or something but it’s giving opposite effect makes me cringe 😬 just be warned!

I just REALLY, REALLY can’t stand the narrators voice. It’s like she is trying to sound Too sweet. It sounds annoying. I almost couldn’t finish the book. I love the story but it was the narrators voice I couldn’t handle its like fingernails on chalk
