Book 5 in the Glops series, this story continues the Bibles tale. This time, the Glops get to witness the happenings around the man of God, Moses and his people, the Hebrews. I loved the sound effects that added to the depth of the feel of this book. Even though it covers some of the hard to take events that happened in regard to Pharoah of Egypt and the abuse he dealt out to the Hebrew people, the story is related in such a way as to make it easy for kids to listen to. Kids will love listening about the Glops and their adventures through the lands of the Bible.

Fantastic story for kids AND adults!

I’ve always loved the story of Jospeh’s coat of many colors. This book explains so much to kids about the history of the family of Joseph and all the things that happened to them in the Bible’s account. It’s so great how the Glops help recount the things they see happening as this book progresses. Their beautifully unique character gives this book the quality of fantasy while sticking to the truths of the Holy Scriptures. Great book for kids!

This book takes readers through stories in the Bible led by characters such as Moses and Joshua. The journey to the land of milk and honey that was promised by God to his people. The Glops narrate throughout and help teach the lessons of the stories as read by the author of this great series of books.

I loved how the characters come alive in the tale. The background is rich with sounds of life in biblical days. The author has truly left no stone unturned in the details of history with this work.

I can wholeheartedly recommend this book to readers who love Bible stories and adventures! Get the whole series!

Learn the devotion of King’s hearts in this book!

This book is an immersive experience. I loved the sound effects. The beautiful sound of birds in the garden of Eden was fantastic. The multiple voices of the people of Israel speaking as a whole was cool. Betty Reeves weaves a multi-layered tapestry of history with this narrative of biblical stories.

The special effects heard in the background add to the depth and richness of the tale. From the noises of boots crunching through the grass, the lowing of cattle, the bleating of sheep, or the braying of donkeys to the sounds of war, this author weaves a rich tapestry through the layering of history into this many-textured book. The author’s expertise is apparent in the well-developed characters such as Goliath, who—laughing as any bully would—is heard by listeners as the tale is told.

The format is professionally done, with short chapters. The individually titled subheadings make the book a collection of short stories that entertain and delight listeners.

I most heartily recommend this book to everyone who loves listening to Bible stories!

An amazing book-journey through Bible tales!

This story takes readers through the Land of the Israelite people and God’s kingdom as it is divided and the people exiled. The prophet Elijah lives the story as we see him guided by God. There are many foes along the way, King Ahab, his wicked queen, Jezebel, and many others. This audiobook is filled with the lessons of the Bible, and it is brought to life by the sounds and characters who lived the tale, as told by author Betty M Reeves. This book is so well written. The narration of the Glops is woven seamlessly into the story as a supportive role. The sound effects in the background add depth and quality to the listening experience, from the sound of a worm crunching away at the vine that sheltered the prophet Jonah from the sun, to the sound of bands of sheep, this book is beautifully constructed and rendered. I recommend this book and the entire series to all who enjoy learning about the Bible!

A wonderfully entertaining story for kids!

This book is based on scripture from the Bible but with the added element of the Glops characters to help tell the story! I loved the way the Glops witness this story happen from the book of Genesis. It is complete with sound effects of camels and other wonderfully real sounds of biblical history. I highly recommend this work!

This is a great Bible story for kids!

This book gives a great rendition of the story of the tower of Babel. It explains clearly the events related in the Bible, but it also has the element of fantasy mixed in through the addition of the Glops characters.
The little Glops are so friendly and I enjoyed the descriptive way that Betty Reeves writes them into the story. They add a new dimension to an old tale.
I love how this book quotes scripture directly from the Bible and makes every part of the tale come to life. Great book for kids who love to listen to entertaining children’s audiobooks!

GREAT Biblically-based Story for kids!

After listening to this wonderful Bible Story Audiobook, I have to say I enjoyed it immensely. I like the sound effects and background noises.
The ‘tone’ of this audiobook is perfect. It is immersive, and draws a reader into the story well.
I loved the sound of the glops giggling, that was a nice touch! It was great ‘hearing’ what the glops had to say and think. This effect gave the book the feel of a stage performance rather than just a book being read to readers.
The sound quality was also exceptional. All in all, a job well done!
