Ooh my holy hell. This would be hilarious if I didn’t think it was suppose to be serious. Terrible advise. Full disclosure…Im not in the dating game nor do I plan to be and I haven’t been for a while. I only listened to this because my son downloaded it and I had it in my library and was on a long road trip. I listened to some of this and could only picture an awkward teenager trying way too hard. Completely ridiculous. Mental images of a Hindu jigalo with a gold necklace, silk pants and a gold chain were also conjured. Completely cringy.

Terrible Narrator

Really good story, but the narration made it difficult to finish. He has a handful of voices so it was hard to follow. And the voices didn't fit the characters. Very disappointed.

Had me till the end

Started really slow, but soon picked up. Excellent detail, and a lot of research went into this, however at the end it was just too unrealistic... no government agency is going to let a civilian, let alone an injured one, join a swat team on an entry. Especially with opposing training. And in addition, why don't they scramble the radio signal from the detonators, or track a cell phone...ahhh, really frustrating because 2/3 was a great plot, but the ending third was more like a B quality 80s action movie. Very disappointing!

A little hard to follow

Great story, but at times the narrator was a bit hard to follow because there was no pause in between subject changes. I'm thinking it had more to do with production then the narrator.

I think Kiki needs to go back to the community college that she got to publish this book and take a few creative writing classes. I don't know what was more poorly researched, the contents contents of this high school fictional narrative or the audience that this was intended for. Absolutely terrible story. although she did a very good job at making sure you dislike the main character. She really should not be writing legal thrillers. the thing that really pissed me off of the attempt at bring in the DEA. there is no such thing as a director and they don't investigate murder cases. Usually they say people who swear a lot are just showing there ignorance, well Kiki has proven that that is true even when you writ it. Defiantly don't waste a credit, and I wouldn't pay 1.00 for this one. The only list I could ever really take seriously with this book on it would be Jerry Springers book club list!!!

I feel like Im listening to a spy play where the characters are to be thespians trying to act like spies. This book was terribly written and even worse poorly researched!! This is the first book that i ever have not been able to make it through. I wish i could get y money back!!

This story would have been great if the entire thing wasn't read like the 5:00 news...I was really looking forward to a good story, and instead I had to try really hard not to fall asleep from the monologue

although a great writer, the story was poorly developed and even worse researched. not worth the discount rate i wasted to listen to it... in fact if I had just used my credit i wouldnt have even taken the time to finish it...it was that bad.!!!
