What made the experience of listening to The Witness the most enjoyable?
How easy Nora Roberts made it to connect with the characters.
Who was your favorite character and why?
Liz, the main character, was my favorite character, probably because I felt very sympathetic to what she went through and could relate somewhat. Also because of the immense amount of character development and struggle she went through throughout the book, and in the end she made it and came out a better person for it.
Did you have an extreme reaction to this book? Did it make you laugh or cry?
I laughed quite a bit at poor Liz. She is such an incredibly smart and capable, and at the same time silly and vulnerable person. I also laughed a lot at Brooks and his mom, Nora does a good job of inserting light humor into the right places. I cried when certain characters died, I won't say who and spoil it. It was very emotional, and the honor and tragedy of their sacrifice brought tears to my eyes.

Great great book. An easy, enjoyable listen for anyone, especially those who like mysteries. Good plot, great character development, and a good ending. Thanks Nora!
