Historia
Molly Gray’s life is about to change in ways she could never have imagined. As the esteemed Head Maid and Special Events Manager of the Regency Grand Hotel, two good things are just around the corner—a taping of the hit antiquities TV show Hidden Treasures and, even more exciting, her wedding to Juan Manuel. When Molly brings in some old trinkets to be appraised on the show, one item is revealed to be a rare and coveted artifact worth millions. Molly becomes a rags-to-riches sensation, and a media frenzy swirls as she prepares to sell her priceless treasure.

Dearest Molly...
Revisado: 04-14-25
From the first words, I felt as if I was reunited with dear friends. Molly, Jaun, Mr. Preston, Flora, and every other character are brought to life yet again by Nita Prose. Outstanding narration by Lauren Ambrose.I am sad to say goodbye, hopefully not forever, to Molly the Maid.

Alaskan Review
Revisado: 04-11-25
I've lived in Alaska for 20 years. Not the area mentioned in the book but there were a couple of inaccurate details that caught my attention. Otherwise, I enjoyed the story and the narrator was good but not great.

Good story but...
Revisado: 04-09-25
This was a good book but the long pauses in the narration was almost torturous. The editors could have spliced it together better and it would have saved a couple hours in run time.

Good story but the female narrator...
Revisado: 03-23-25
I really enjoy these plot lines and the core group of agents. My issue is the narration of Renée Raudman. Unfortunately, she leans towards sappy, ditsy, overdramatic, and not at all right for the characters or the plot. I have skipped over some of the series because of her narration. I decided to give it another try with the male narrator, whose performance is just right. Alas, I continue to cringe at the female narrator.

Not your usual Koontz and it was wonderful
Revisado: 02-07-24
I am a huge fan of Dean Koontz and love his dark and mysterious books. This isn't quite the same...reminds me of Kevin Wilson books and I thoroughly enjoyed every moment of this story. I found myself laughing out loud and rewinding several times. The narrator is perfect for Benny and the gang. I hope there is another book following Craggle-kind.

New to Steampunk
Revisado: 11-13-23
This book series was my first foray into the Steampunk genre and now I am in love with this world and series. I've been binge listening since book 1 and now I'm ready for book 7!
I think the author has done a fantastic job of weaving the intertwining tales of Jacob, Alice, Drakaar, Gladys, George, Mary, Smith, and all the other persona along with the landscape of giant bugs, environmental disasters and it's aftermath, coming of age, war, young love, loss, and life. I can see this world in my imagination. The marvelous, Saskia Maarleveld, brings a new light and life to these characters. I'm so glad I spent the credits on these books!

Revisado: 10-05-23
Absolutely Brilliant! I laughed out loud, I cried, I got nervous, exited, intrigued, and so much more. These books are a joy to read and listen to. I'm in love with Fiona Shaw from her fabulous acting and her narration is spot on and pulls you into the world of Cooper's Chase. I find myself wishing I could share this series with my late Mother, knowing she would have loved these books, too.

Good but...not 5 stars
Revisado: 08-16-23
Good book....I just wish that Jasper's voice was the dominant and not Kate. I found myself yelling at her and her angry martyrdom. I actually fast forwarded through some of the Kate chapters. Like others have said, it was drawn out and slow at time. A good editor would have made this a 5 star read.
