Historia
Convicted serial killer Benjamin Fisher has finally offered to lead San Bernardino detective Daniel Ellis to the isolated graves of his victims. One catch: he'll only do it if FBI profiler Reni Fisher, his estranged daughter, accompanies them. As hard as it is to exhume her traumatic childhood, Reni can’t say no. She still feels complicit in her father’s crimes.

Another great read from Anne Fraiser!
Revisado: 07-07-20
I think I have read nearly every book by Anne Fraiser because she does such an amazing job pulling you to each of her stories. I listened to this book in just a few days bc I couldn't put it down! The characters are all very realistic and well thought out and the story line is not predictable at all, but not so off course as to be unrealistic. Can't wait for the next book!

Historia
Harley Merlin can sense people's emotions, among other things. It's how she snagged her first job pinpointing cheaters at a casino. But she has no clue where she got these freakish powers because she spent her childhood jumping from home to home in the foster system, and her father left her with nothing more than a cryptic note. Then she crosses paths with a terrifyingly real monster. Which is when a mysterious and annoyingly arrogant young warlock named Wade Crowley steps in, introducing her to a hidden world of beasts, magicals, and covens riddled with secrets.

Revisado: 11-06-19
I loved this book, I finished it in two days and couldn't put it down! I HIGHLY recommend this to anyone who loves a book based on magic and witches. The main character is pretty awesome and I'm so glad the author didn't make her some helpless damsel in distress, she's actually a hilarious bad ass and I LOVE THAT! I can see that I'm going to be wrapped up in these 13 books for a while, if they all are as exciting as this one!

Historia
Alicia Berenson’s life is seemingly perfect. A famous painter married to an in-demand fashion photographer, she lives in a grand house with big windows overlooking a park in one of London’s most desirable areas. One evening, her husband, Gabriel, returns home late from a fashion shoot, and Alicia shoots him five times in the face and then never speaks another word. Alicia’s refusal to talk, or give any kind of explanation, turns a domestic tragedy into something far grander, a mystery that captures the public imagination and casts Alicia into notoriety.

Revisado: 07-30-19
this book was very good and is vividly descriptive. It was almost like a movie playing it in my head... like one that I would've spent money to see in theaters. I highly recommend it to anyone else looking for a good pysch thiller!

10/10 Did not disappoint!
Revisado: 06-13-19
I love when a book doesn't take 10 chapters to get to the main theme if the book. A. J. does a great job of making it nearly impossible for you to put her books down. she get to the point without loss of details or leaving gaps in her storylines. If you haven't read any of her other books I highly recommend you try them out.
I loved how this book developed through the storyline and ended abruptly, but without leaving you clueless. That's an art not many have mastered and I've seen it done poorly before, but not this book. I hope she writes a mini novella based on this book as I kind of fell in love with characters because they're so complex!
I highly recommend this book.

great story from start to finish.
Revisado: 02-06-17
Im really starting to fall in love with this author! His stories don't have that slow droning start that some authors start their book with. It is a real talent to be able to include all of the needed beginning storyline foundation and background information without losing the readers attention. Mark Edwards seems to have has perfected this talent. This book made me not want to put it down at all! I think everyone can relate to the storyline as crappy neighbors come a done a dozen now a days. This book will have you wanting to go put down a deposit on a house in the middle of a abandoned forest to avoid sharing loving storages with anyone. Just download it. It's well worth the listen/read! 5 stars!!!

I wanted to like this more than I did
Revisado: 02-03-17
The story started off intriguingly enough but hit a few long dry patches throughout. The story was still well written enough to keep my attention overall. I feel this book could've easily been cut down and trimmed to fix the this problem. The performance was perfectly executed and is part of what helped keep my attention.
Definitely at least try the book it was worth the read overall.

That was a great read!
Revisado: 01-02-17
The story line started out fast and did not slow down. It was very interesting to see how the different relationships tighten and loosened throughput the story as the plot twisted and shifted. Most of the readers have can relate to some aspect of the storyline, which makes the book even more emotion-invoking.
The narrator also does a great job of following the dynamics of the story and character personalities.

Very well written and performed! Get this book!
Revisado: 09-08-16
Very easy listen and a wonderful storyline. For those with fragile tolerance for stories relating to abduction and sexual violence ,tread lightly but I will say that these topics were very tastefully handled and the harsher situations where easy to get through because of author's literary talent and the narrator's skill to add very guinuine sounding emotion where it needed to be placed throughout the storyline. You need this book!
