Great story, great characters and unpredictable twists. Just when you're sure you have all the loose ends figured out, you don't. I love that. I admit I'm picky about narrators. This one is SUPERB! I will pre-order any Nate Shepherd book and truly can't wait for the next one.

Love the Nate Shepherd series. I feel like they're all longtime friends of mine. I am already anxiously waiting for the next one. The narrator is PERFECT.

Enjoying this series

I'm finding the Nate Shepherd series quite enjoyable. There are characters I've come to know and like. I feel like they've become my friends. I appreciate the story lines containing surprises as well as some of the creative descriptions that make me laugh. I also appreciate how the author refrains from explicit descriptions that are unnecessary. He chooses to respect that the reader understands. I was first introduced to this series with Book 1 as a free offering from Audible and am so glad I tried it. I've now purchased each one since and can't wait for Book 6 to come out. Thanks Audible, for introducing me to an author and narrator I really enjoy.

Really enjoying this series

I was introduced to this author through an audible free book awhile back. I'm so glad! Ever since, I can't wait to purchase the next ook in the series. The stories are entertaining and the characters have become my friends. The narrator is excellent. Michael Stagg, please keep writing!

Treat yourself to a great listen

Eduardo Ballerini is my favorite narrator, and I enjoyed the Jess Walter book "Beautiful Ruins", so I was excited to listen to this. My only disappointment was that it ended too soon. It was so enjoyable, I wanted it to go on and on. It made me laugh out loud, smile with joy and made my heart happy. I will be searching for more by Jess Walter and Eduardo Ballerini.

I really wanted to like this

This subject is of great interest to me, but I just couldn't continue listening. The writing did not appeal to me at all, and I thought maybe it was written for young adults. So disappointing that I'll actually be returning this book.

Not the Connelly I'm used to

As a fan of Connelly for years, I purchase his books as soon as they're available. His last few have been disappointing, this one included. It took a long time to capture my interest and I struggled to finish it. I can only recommend his older books which were great! Sorry to say this one doesn't live up to those standards.

Another great one by Coben

As a huge fan of Harlan Coben, I purchase his books as soon as they're available. This one did not disappoint! I'm only sorry it's over and I have to wait for a new one to come out. He has a way of drawing you in immediately and developing characters that you care about and root for. I enjoy the way he weaves in a few characters from previous books. Loved it and can't wait for the next one.
