Historia
What if we understood faith crisis as part of a natural cycle of spiritual growth, a breaking open to make room for new life and new faith? In the new book Navigating Mormon Faith Crisis, Thomas McConkie draws on the study of adult development to provide a map for people who find themselves in faith crisis, fearing they might have taken a wrong turn in their spiritual progression.

Very helpful

I was able to find myself in each of the stages of development with exception to strategist as much of it feels foreign to me, I suppose something to grow into.

An attempt to redefine
Revisado: 01-06-21
Kendi attempts to redefine racism and frames capitalism as its ugly stepsister. He defines anti racism in an appropriate way then walks his argument back grouping individuals into groups based on skin color and culture. He seems to encourage civil disobedience for those society has deemed minorities.
He calls race a “power construct” a term I hadn’t heard before. I had thought of it as a social construct. Seeing the way he illustrates it I am convinced race is a power construct. Dividing people into groups and keeping them in the prescribed group gives power to a few and enables greater control over society.
His examples of how blacks can be racist are only concerned with how blacks treat blacks and not how they may treat or see other races and cultures.
In conclusion this is a book written by a racist in defense of his racist ideology.

Historia
Thirteen-time #1 national bestselling author Glenn Beck realized years ago that somewhere along the way, his four children had become more focused on Santa than the meaning of Christmas. No matter how he tried, he could not redirect their attention away from presents and elves to the manger instead. Glenn didn't want to be the Grinch who spoiled the magic of Kris Kringle, so he had to find a unique way to turn his kids back toward the true meaning of Christmas. He decided the best place to start was by first turning Santa himself back toward Christ.

Great story, hard to listen to
Revisado: 11-11-20
I love the story and listen to it every year. This recording only sounds decent when sped up to 2x speed. I would love a different recording.
