Song at the end
Revisado: 02-23-23
I love this series and I loved this installment, but can I say that hearing Donut sing that song in the end credits on the audiobook version actually hit me kind of hard? Like damn. You hear about the trauma and know the characters are going through it, but hearing donut sing that song really connected me to the realities of how dark this situation would be and how much your perceptions and priorities would change having to go through something like this.
Amazing characters.

Do Not Buy As Audiobook.
Revisado: 10-11-15
Would you say that listening to this book was time well-spent? Why or why not?
I know I'm going to sound petty, but I could not get 8 minutes into this book listening to the narrator.
What was your reaction to the ending? (No spoilers please!)
Didn't finish. Bought the text version and I will be giving that a go.
Who would you have cast as narrator instead of Richard Evert?
Almost anyone. He really ruined this one for me. His halting delivery, the voices he gave to the characters and what I felt was a dead-pan performance stopped me in my tracks. I could not get in to the book. I did not give it a chance. I deleted it.
I bought the text version and I'm sure I'll enjoy it that way.
If this book were a movie would you go see it?
Sure.
Any additional comments?
Please do not waste money or a credit on the audio version. Buy the text version if you are going to give it a try.
