Historia
With his characteristic eyebrow-raising behavior, Richard P. Feynman once provoked the wife of a Princeton dean to remark, "Surely you're joking, Mr. Feynman!" But the many scientific and personal achievements of this Nobel Prize-winning physicist are no laughing matter. Here, woven with his scintillating views on modern science, Feynman relates the defining moments of his accomplished life.

Historia
We reinforce addictions by giving into them, but what is there to do when we get that "itchy" feeling? Learning to Stay Present shares insights for peacefully refraining from the "urge to scratch." In this recording from a live event with Pema Chodron, she discusses the ineffable quality known in the Buddhist tradition as shenpam a pre-emotional feeling that arises in us, brings discomfort, and often leads to unskillful, habitual reactions.

This author was highly recommended on an Amazon page for another book on meditation. I decided to give her a try and think she is terrific. I like the content and the sound of her voice. Just listening to her makes me want to buy into what she is saying. She is very authentic and believable.

It was the eye. The dull, sightless, vulture's eye that shredded his final nerve. But the murder was done so carefully, so perfectly, that only one thing could reveal the whereabouts of the body. B. J. Harrison gives a masterful reading of the famous murder that wouldn't keep quiet. This audiobook was the #3 best-selling audiobook in 2008 at the iTunes Music Store!

Historia
John Perry did two things on his 75th birthday. First he visited his wife's grave. Then he joined the army. The good news is that humanity finally made it into interstellar space. The bad news is that planets fit to live on are scarce—and alien races willing to fight us for them are common. So: we fight. To defend Earth, and to stake our own claim to planetary real estate. Far from Earth, the war has been going on for decades: brutal, bloody, unyielding. Earth itself is a backwater.

Old Mans War
Revisado: 06-06-16
I enjoyed this book. I am not a sci fi fan but was drawn to it because of the title. I am 68 and about the same age as the principle character so I enjoyed listening as he went through a rejuvenating experience and later ran into a version of his wife reincarnated in one of the Ghost soldiers.
This is the first audible book I have experienced. I played around with some of the features like speeding up the narration and slowing it down. I also found time to listen to these books rather than some TV show or the radio.
