Defense attorney Mickey Haller is back, taking the long shot cases, where the chances of winning are one in a million. He agrees to represent a woman in prison for killing her husband, a sheriff’s deputy. Despite her conviction four years earlier, she still maintains her innocence. Fantastic redemption arc in an engaging series with beloved characters. Particularly enjoyed the back and forth viewpoints of Bosch and Haller

Historia
When Bruce Jansen ascends to the White House, he is a changed man, determined to end gun violence by any means necessary. Rights are taken away as quickly as weapons. International travel becomes impossible. Checkpoints and roadblocks destroy infrastructure. The media is censored. Militias declare civil war on the government. The country is in chaos, and Jansen's former friends each find themselves fighting a very different battle, for themselves, their rights, their country... and, in Doggie's case, the life of her father, who just may be innocent.

Terrifying
Revisado: 03-20-22
Jussi Asler-Olsen knows more about how the US government works—including its weak points—than the vast majority of US citizens. He lays out how it could all come undone in terrifying detail. The worst is realizing how plausible it all is and how close to happening it could be.
My only quibble is the inordinately wordy building up process but that’s an editorial quibble.

Rings of Christie
Revisado: 10-20-20
A wealthy house party. A dead body. Gentility and secrets. All smack of Agatha Christie and made this unputdownable.
