We discuss which exercise and nutrition protocols are ideal for women based on their age and particular goals. Reproductive Immunology
Revisado: 07-22-24
Overall very accurate information but Dr. Sims did mistake the immune response and inflammation associated with the phases of the menstrual cycle. Estrogen is pro-inflammatory and thus inflammation is highest in the follicular phase when the endometrium is proliferating under estrogen dominance. Progesterone is anti-inflammatory and thus the luteal phase (progesterone dominance) maintains endometrial thickness and prepares an immune suppression of the endometrium for embryonic implantation.

Historia
With courage, grace, and powerful insight, bestselling author Kristin Hannah captures the epic panorama of World War II and illuminates an intimate part of history seldom seen: the women's war. The Nightingale tells the stories of two sisters, separated by years and experience, by ideals, passion and circumstance, each embarking on her own dangerous path toward survival, love, and freedom in German-occupied, war-torn France—a heartbreakingly beautiful novel that celebrates the resilience of the human spirit and the durability of women. It is a novel for everyone, a novel for a lifetime.

Absolutely amazing story of how a family survived during WW2 and Germany's occupation of France. This story shows how the human body can be broken but the human soul can endure!

Historia
At one time, Corrie ten Boom would have laughed at the idea that she had a story to tell. For the first 50 years of her life, nothing out of the ordinary ever happened to her. She was a spinster watchmaker living contentedly with her sister and their elderly father in the tiny house over their shop in Haarlem. Their uneventful days, as regulated as their own watches, revolved around their abiding love for one another. But with the Nazi invasion and occupation of Holland, everything changed....

This book made me reflect upon my own outlook with personal tragedies. I was thoroughly inspired with how this family kept God at its center through such horrible circumstances. The most powerful thing was that God delivered!

Dissatisfied
Revisado: 02-03-20
Unfortunately the narration of this book ruined the storyline. Specifically poor pronunciation of words, poor tempo, horrible character impressions and generally she made me feel as if I had hearing loss and needed to speak slow so that I could understand. Very dissatisfied.
