From a broken faith to renewed hope!

This book depicts a dark, grim situation where God seems absent. I found it personally very encouraging that even though the main character was jaded and struggled with his faith, God did not give up on him. A great reminder that God always wins no matter how hopeless the situation may seem.

Good Plot but very sappy.

Would you recommend this audiobook to a friend? If so, why?

I would but would warn them of the incredible sappiness mentioned in the female's abundant "admiration" for the mail character. Very distracting but I'm a guy. Probably written for women. After all, written by a woman so we hear much more about her attraction to the male character and we hear of his admiration for her.

What did you like best about this story?

When the sappiness subsided and the plot grew thicker.

Finn McGregor

Nope.

Way to heavy on the juvenile romance. Not enough actually storyline.

Engaging story with interesting characters

The way the story stayed so interesting all the way through.

Loved the final twist at the end. I was hooked from the beginning. Well worth the credit. I only wish this author had more than two books.

In the middle somewhere.

Did the plot keep you on the edge of your seat? How?

Yes. Great story.

Would you be willing to try another one of Troy Klein’s performances?

Only because of the author's storytelling. Troy is very one dimensional and shows a very narrow range of intensity and emotions. Their were virtually no pauses between scenes that took me a while to figure out things had changed.

If you were to make a film of this book, what would the tag line be?

Redemption comes with a price.
