A simplistic Story labeled as self help.
Revisado: 05-27-18
Starts out with some good basic ideas. Things that you've heard all your life and then it just keeps on talking about Those basic ideas and I mean, really, really, really basic. If you've ever read any self help book in the world, you've heard these things. And you've also heard them From a teacher and your mother. Not that the Examples are bad, and the stories he gives are personal and Somewhat evocative. But then they just kind of fall away, off within the expectation of what you think is going to be building into some greater wisdom and it just doesn't. You can connect with the author emotionally but the content is so limited it Doesn't really offer any in depth solutions or exercises or well thought out steps to accomplish healing Like it sounds like it would. If you want a story to listen to someone's personal experiences and hear what they have gone through it's not a bad book. Just don't expect hearing this book to teach you new things to change your life around because I guarantee If you're over the age of 12 Everything this book Says to do is something you have already tried.

for quick refreshing on basic studies
Revisado: 02-01-18
Not bad for beginners, but a little too redundant compared to Mark's other titles. It spends too much time repeating numbers and basic vocabulary without the right contextual dialog to keep your attention and form solid applicable memorization (meaning it's easier to memorize something in a story type context and this program jumps around a little too much to give you those connections). This is a good introductory program for quick refreshing on your studies if you use it as a compliment to another basic program. Mark's Accelerated Language Program is my favorite, and his Sentence Magic is the other that i constantly use as an intermediate student. Mark Frobose's programs are efficient for intermediate levels but Bite Sized Chinese was just too basic and redundant, and i just breezed through the whole thing in barely over an hour and learned very little. Pimsluer is very good for beginners as each lesson spends an appropriate 30-45 minutes teaching realistic dialog, and Mark Frobose is good for faster, more engaging study and thus works well for medium level speakers, and the accelerated and sentence magic are both really good at that, and will also work for beginners too. Beginners might just find themselves repeating sections more to memorize them.

think about How you interact with the world
Revisado: 09-10-17
Good information clear and to the point about how connections are made and how people. Perceive each other In social interactions It covers most likely scenarios. Although it didn't really go Too much in depth in to Judgment and social exclusion which I thought it would cover a bit more. Patrick does touch on it, but basically just keeps it about your attitude and doesn't really go into Reading Someone else with a judgmental attitude.
Overall, I definitely do recommend this book. It covers a lot of good Things And gives you a good format to think about How you interact with the world.
