Historia
Alicia Berenson’s life is seemingly perfect. A famous painter married to an in-demand fashion photographer, she lives in a grand house with big windows overlooking a park in one of London’s most desirable areas. One evening, her husband, Gabriel, returns home late from a fashion shoot, and Alicia shoots him five times in the face and then never speaks another word. Alicia’s refusal to talk, or give any kind of explanation, turns a domestic tragedy into something far grander, a mystery that captures the public imagination and casts Alicia into notoriety.

Meh
Revisado: 07-25-24
It was alright. I've read so many stories like it that It didn't wow me the way I thought it would and much of the story is quite slow; especially in the beginning. The writing was good but the story itself could've been... more.

Historia
This exciting finale to Lauren Olive's New York Times best-selling Delirium trilogy is a riveting blend of nonstop action and forbidden romance in a dystopian United States. Now an active member of the resistance, Lena has transformed. The nascent rebellion that was underway in Pandemonium has ignited into an all-out revolution in Requiem, and Lena is at the center of the fight. After rescuing Julian from a death sentence, Lena and her friends fled to the Wilds. But the Wilds are no longer a safe haven.

Rushed ending
Revisado: 07-08-24
*SPOILER ALERT* This story completely gripped me from the start! The ending however, ruined the whole entire reading experience for me. It seemed too rushed with many questions unanswered about way too many characters. Where did Hana ever end up in the end? Did Raven actually die? Does Lena choose Julian or Alex since her and Alex made amends and professed their love for each other? What exactly happened to Lena's sister and the rest of the extended family after they left Gracie? For the amount of characters that were introduced, more character development backstories and explanations of how characters REALLY ended up where they ended up would have been nice.

Short and Sentimental
Revisado: 05-01-23
This book alleviates and validates the creative block in all of us. It's an inspirational warming acknowledgment that your art and being are valuable to the healing of everyone involved. This manifesto gave me the inner stamina that I needed to embrace my artistic purpose, and I recommend it to others!
