Michael Singer tells his life story with So much reverence. that he had the wisdom to live his life as if it is sacred was very wise. Yah, my mind had its judgments of crap- his story-telling manor, his personal philosophy- but after my mind's critiquing quieted down, I felt nothing but respect for him and the way he let his life unfold and the Incredible amount of practicing he did to surrender his mind's expectations and resistances. i myself started that journey years ago, but am in my infancy compared to him. He mastered his mind. Wild story. Starts out slow, gets pretty wild, esp around chapter 50- plot twist I did not see coming!

Candice Moll, the narrator, is Exceptional- how did she do all the different accents so seamlessly?! The author, Torre DeRoche, tells her personal experience in an authentic way. She doesn't tell a very dramatic, Hollywood- exaggerated version of her experience. it's simple and personal. At once inspiring yet realistic, which, in an adventure story, is refreshing, since they often times can be highly romanticized and pretentious, whereas she's honest about, for example, how lonely it could be.

A refreshing goal-setting book because it takes into account the core of why you're chasing your goals in the first place. Plus she asks soulful questions that actually inspired a few tears when I answered them for myself. That's powerful.
