Historia
When heroin-addicted vampire and gang leader, RJ, reluctantly takes in a 12-year-old prostitute called Bait, humanity is introduced to his otherwise lifeless existence. An unforgiving, vicious, and realistic horror story, Knuckle Supper explores chemical dependency, inner-city brutality, religion, molestation, abortion, and the very nature of evil itself.

A story I keep coming back to.

I really like the story, lore, & characters. I may be biased towards RJ as a life long lover of punk, but I am excited to hear the next book(I also own book 2). I’ve purchased, listened to & read the story in multiple formats. It’s gritty, a little gory & dark but sometimes fun as well. One of my favorites.

Historia
Remember that car that passed you near midnight on Route 66, doing 105 with its lights off? You wondered where it was going so quickly on that dark, dusty stretch of road, motor roaring, the driver glancing out the window as he blew by. You just saw the founder of the Suicide Motor Club. Be grateful his brake lights never flashed. Be grateful his car was already full.

So-so
Revisado: 07-10-20
I thought this audiobook was just okay. I loved "The lesser dead", and bought this after. However, it was harder for me to get into. I tried listening several months ago, and just sat it aside. Recently I came back to it again, and listened straight through as I ran errands. Truthfully I'm unsure that I would have made it through had it not been for Clayton who was brought up in The Lesser Dead.
I really like the author's narration, and his character voices are fun, yet not over the top.
Also, I enjoyed how the vampires were wrote. I like the individual back story of each. The personalities are interesting as well.
What I did not like though, were Jude's parts of the story. I didn't particularly care for her, and many parts of the first two thirds of the story revolving around her just seemed to drag on for me. I just really didn't care what happened to her.
