Historia
St Valentine’s Day, in the midst of the hot summer of 1900, a party of schoolgirls went on a picnic to Hanging Rock. Some were never to return…. An Australian classic, the disappearance of three girls and a schoolteacher at Hanging Rock has captivated and intrigued audiences for generations. Jacqueline McKenzie’s interpretation of the best-selling novel captures all of the beauty of the Rock and illustrates the eerie sense of the unknown for which the story is legendary.

Awesome narration!

The pan flute between chapters is a bit much (because the chapters are short), but if you love the book and movie, this performance does not disappoint! If you're new to Hanging Rock, you're in for a treat.

Historia
When Greta Helsing, doctor to the undead, is unexpectedly called to Paris to present at a medical conference, she expects nothing more exciting than professional discourse on zombie reconstructive surgery and skin disease in bogeymen - and hopefully at least one uneventful night at the Opera. Unfortunately for Greta, Paris happens to be infested with a coven of vampires - and not the civilized kind. If she hopes to survive, Greta must navigate the darkest corners of the City of Lights, the maze of ancient catacombs and mine-tunnels underneath the streets.

Fun, absorbing

Second time I've finished listening to these. Entertaining narration, great stories (I recommend the actual books), with just a few pronunciation errors- a comfort listen.

Well worth a listen!

This recording is clear, charming and nuanced. I love it. As a longtime fan of the books and the Megan Follows series, I would have known instantly if this weren't faithful to the mood or sound- but it really rings true. A couple of pronunciation errors in the first book are fixed in the second book.
