I must be honest here, the narrator and narration killed it for me. The narrator for Camino Island did such great performance bringing these characters to life and giving them a voice that I was expecting it for book 2, and book 3. I was incredibly disappointed when Michael Beck’s voice hit my ears. He is a good narrator, but I would expect him to narrate “A Time to Kill”, “A Time for Mercy”, or “Sycamore Row”.

As for the story, it was nothing short of perfect in my eyes. John Grisham is by far my favorite author. As of today, I have not found a book by John Grisham that I have not enjoyed. This particular book hit close to home as I live in Nassau county. I have sat through many hurricanes, and I know for a fact the accuracy of the way he described hurricane Leo and the aftermath. All I had to do was close my eyes, and I can picture exactly where every landmark was.

I think I would much rather finish reading this book as hardback. I am going to purchase Camino wins and Camino ghost and read them in my spare time. The reason I use audible is because I can listen to a book while I drive or while I’m working on a computer. I don’t get much time to read a hardback.

I absolutely loved everything about this book, I loved the narration and the way she brought this story to life! Though I must admit, I was not a fan of the beginning of the book at first .I was initially lost but soon realized what was going on and got sucked into the book. This quickly became one of my top 5 favorites from the author. I literally just sat in my car for the last hour to finish the last part of this book. For me the narrator, and how they choose to narrate the story is the upmost important part of audible books. This book was perfectly performed and the author was able to get me sucked in within the first chapter, which makes for, in my opinion, a perfect book!

I am not even going to finish this book before I leave this review. I had a brain blood clot so I have a good grasp of what this girls going through. It’s horrible and I wish that on nobody! As for the story of course it is wonderful I love all of her books! I get so wrapped up in them I forget I have things I have to do!

Hated the ending

I loved this book simply taking in consideration our current circumstances in the world and it reminded me that things could be much worse. However, the ending was disappointing! I was waiting to see if there would be more survivors joining them. It may just be me but I feel like it’s unfinished. I think one more chapter would’ve closed it off

Should have stopped at 2

Of all three books I have to say this one was super annoying. I think this series would have been great if it stopped at 2 books. This last book seemed forced.
