Confessions of a Bookaholic is a romantic love story between childhood best friends Macy Sinclair and Lucas Stone. Both are now students in their final year of college in California. Lucas is preparing for the NFL Draft and Macy is seeking her “dream job” at a major magazine as a writer.

It is a delightful story with high hopes, bad choices, book love and how friends can make the best and the worst decisions. Yeah, I did not like Macy forgoing her dreams to be with Lucas. I did not like Lucas going along with the ride either. So, if you ever wonder if you can like a story and not the characters so much – well yeah, it is possible. I just wanted to snap my fingers and say “Snap out of it”

Confessions’ narrators made it amazingly easy to listen to the funny banter. I listen to the audio in my car only to keep me entertain as a I drive around running errands. At some points of the story, I had to sit in the Target parking lot to finish the chapters. And the sex scenes? Wow, talking about heat. I was not expecting so much dirty fun and it is kind of funny to be waiting at the traffic light as Lucas “pokes” Macy.

Each narrator portrayed each character perfectly. So many times, the female narrator makes the male character sound like a wimp. That is not the case with Sierra Kline.

Finally, I get the Vi thing !!

Brody Easton is cocky, rude and too confident. He has all the perfect plays on and off the field. The ladies have even nicknamed him “Subway”. However, under all that arrogance lurks a defense mechanism.
No matter how much I hated his cocky attitude toward Delilah, I loved his relationship with Marlene. The love, care and attention he devotes to her will totally melt your heart. This is the reason why you will fall in love with him too.
Once Delilah and Brody move pass the game they started playing in the locker room, they fumbled into a beautiful love story. Just like any gameday, sometimes upsets are on the horizon. There is always something or someone who comes along and steals the perfect game and that someone is his childhood friend.
This is my first Vi book and I know understand the title #1 NYT Bestselling Author. I get it. First of all, let me explain the POV aspect of this book. The story is told in dual character POV in the most unique way.
We have Delilah’s POV with her thoughts and desires about Easton and their relationship. We have Brody’s POV regarding Marlene, his childhood and his job. The reader does not have Brody’s thoughts, feelings and motivations regarding Delilah.
This story will make you laugh and cry. It is not your normal down and dirty romance. It will create strong emotions of sadness, anger, love and hope. A true testament to the phrase “all the feels”. It was a pleasure to listen to this audiobook. I dare say it may be the best audiobook I have heard in a long time.

NARRATION REVIEW
This audio elevated this review to a 5. Narrator Mackenzie Cartwright and Sean Crisden was the perfect collaboration. Crisden’s narration is spot on as Brody. However, he steals the limelight as Marlene and Grouper. I enjoyed Marlene’s character even more than Brody’s narrations. It’s not my intent to leave out Ms. Cartwright’s narration however. Her voice is very soothing when needed and joyfully sweet when interacting with her friend and Brody’s banter. This is one audiobook I was glad to purchase and look forward to listening to again in the future.

I can listen to narrator Erin Mallon read a telephone book. She delivers sarcasm with a raspy voice with perfection along with Joseph Discher. Together they set the perfect tone with humor and keep you in the game.
This second chance romance is told from two perspectives, so it's appropriate that Erin Mallon and Joseph Discher share the narration. The plot alternates between the past as it follows Charlotte and Grayson's love/hate relationship in college and the present when they meet by change again at their college reunion.
Charlotte, an artist and gallery owner and Grayson, NFL Superbowl MVP champion rekindle their romance . Mallon delivers a performance to savor Charlotte and Grayson's tangled emotions in the mysery surrounding their seven year estrangement.
Football, romance and regret make for the perfect treat to round out your summer romance audio.

I NEED THIS BAD BOY FIX LIKE A JUNKIE

SCANDALOUS is a bad boy junkie juggernaut. 3 Words: I.Am.Obsessed. No I am not going to shut up about this series anytime soon because I have 3 more books to binge-read. And if you haven’t started this series, then what are doing with your precious time? Get caught up now!!!!
I can sum up this 5 KINK review in two words: Trent Rexroth. This review is for my ride and die book fiends. They are the ones who understand once you find a book boyfriend that will consumed your life, make you ignore your family and friends, make you drive across town 40 minutes out of the way for no reason other than to listen to the audiobook; you need to shout to the universe: Your next binge-read is this baby!!

Arrogant. Rude. Older. Gorgeous. A Single Dad. Yep, that piece of arm candy on the cover is a father to a precious 4 year old.
This is Trent Rexroth. A grade A hothole you will love to hate and beg to love.
It has it all – laughs, tears, angst and hotter than hot sex scenes. Author LJ Shen wrote a damn good book with a character I loathe, envied and cheered on.
Obviously jail bate and/or barely legal is not a hard limit for me. I need whisky and a cig as I listen to CHRISTIAN RUMMEL whisper in my ear. That sexy I don’t give a damn voice will seduce and put you in a trance.

with Rummel narrating, I have no other choice to scoop up the Viscious audiobook too. I’m not sure if I loved this story more because of the audiobook or because of the words jumping off my kindle like pop rocks candy with a coke. It sizzles with satisfaction

5 WICKED SASS STARS

Just imagine a job interview and the interviewer tells you they can’t hire you because they are afraid to cross hairs with Nicholas Wolf. But wait, not only are they afraid, Wolf sends the interviewer a copy of your iron clad agreement as a subtle reminder why you should not be entertaining any new job prospects. These moments are plenty in the story. The audio provides the perfect wicked sass to convey all the comedy. Erin and Zachary’s voices are smooth as whiskey. Their combination provides the right snarky altitude to convey Emily’s whipping girl pain as Nicholas Wolf’s assistant. Erin Mallory knocks every laugh out of the park. As a certified fangirl of Whitney G this yummy bite size morsel is also surprisingly sweet. The author takes everything good about romantic comedy, mix it in a basket and drops two hours of listening pleasure in your ear. Every chapter will sing its own praise. Just be careful if driving while listening. With this audio, laugh out loud humor may become dangerous with a speeding ticket or fender bender.

Nora and Her Men

I'm a sucker for a British accent. Listening to the narrator has me making plans to visit London - like very soon. The Story is hand downs my favorite book in the series ( so far ) and the narration catapulted it even higher if its possible. Aeron James narration of all the characters is a great way to spend a lazy afternoon with Mistress Nora and Zach and Wes and Soren and Michael. You get the picture...…#GreatListen

Would you consider the audio edition of Backstage Pass to be better than the print version?

That's a toss up! The story is so awesome via KINDLE and it comes alive via Audible. I love Brian and Myrna

What did you like best about this story?

The older woman and younger man. Brian was easy to fall in love and his bandmates where their urging him on and giving him a hard time.

Which character – as performed by Justine O. Keef – was your favorite?

I can't pick a favorite. If I had to pick a favorite, it would be Trey

Was there a moment in the book that particularly moved you?

The book is full of smexy times. The dining room table, the bath tub. However, when they went shopping for real food after Myrna became disgusted with just beer in the fridge. They were like little kids when she suggested she would cook if they cleaned. Hilarious!!!

Any additional comments?

There is no such thing as listening to this audible too many times. The best book for a road trip.

Would you listen to This Man again? Why?

Yes, I can put this title on repeat. I have actually change my GPS voice to UK English because I love this audible so much.

What was one of the most memorable moments of This Man?

Jesse Ward, each time he shouts to EVA "watch your mouth" even during the sexy times., especially during the sexy times.

Which character – as performed by Edita Brychta – was your favorite?

Both Ava and Jesse was brilliant.

Did you have an extreme reaction to this book? Did it make you laugh or cry?

It made me LOL so much I had to slow down in my car and repeat several chapters just to hear it again.

I listen to this ebook first and have not read the kindle version. However, I have since purchase the paperback just so I can have this book at my fingertips when I am away from my car. I don't know what listening to my radio means. Its constantly on THIS MAN
