Excellent Narration on the next installment
Revisado: 02-25-25
As the second installment, I was really looking forward to learning what happened next and to some of the mysteries that were hanging around. Some were found out. Many were not.
Didn’t feel like a full book. More like a partial book but after enjoying book one so much, I couldn’t help myself.
A little more focus in the bedroom than I would have liked and hoped for more movement in the story.
The voices are perfect and extremely entertaining.

Sci-fi at its best!
Revisado: 08-29-22
Just get this audiobook if you enjoy sci-fi.
The narrator was fantastic (which sometimes seems like a hard thing to find) and the book was gripping throughout. So fun to listen to. I’ve recommended the book to many as the I listed, even my teenagers!

Historia
It’s been a decade since Trumanell Branson disappeared, leaving only a bloody handprint behind. Her pretty face still hangs like a watchful queen on the posters on the walls of the town’s Baptist church, the police station, and in the high school. They all promise the same thing: We will find you. Meanwhile, Tru's brother, Wyatt, lives as a pariah in the desolation of the old family house, cleared of wrongdoing by the police but tried and sentenced in the court of public opinion and in a new documentary about the crime.

Gripping book from beginning to end
Revisado: 08-17-22
I’m always returning books due to either the story or the narrator losing me within the pages. The did neither. All the voices were AMAZING and the story was so deep and almost eerie throughout the book.
Fantastic job to all!!

Historia
Margot and James are broken up—for good this time. James made sure of it when he dropped the bomb on Margot: that he doesn’t want kids, ever. Then, on the biggest morning of his life, James—an ambitious lawyer at a high-powered firm—wakes up pregnant. He realizes with dread that he is part of a recent epidemic of men suddenly and inexplicably becoming pregnant. His condition obvious to the higher-ups, James is denied the promotion he was expecting, sending him reeling.

Good but slow at times
Revisado: 06-30-22
First, the audio was wonderful.
This is so important because I will quit books in minutes if the voice doesn’t sound right or grab my attention.
Secondly, the book had few parts that were just too darn slow. I seriously could have just fast forwarded nearly half the book.
The parts that did grab my attention were very good and kept me going.
Overall, a decent book to enjoy when cleaning the yard and cleaning the house.
