Great trilogy for young adults

My father gave me this series of books to me as a birthday present 30 years ago. The story is very reminiscent of the movie, Labyrinth but enhanced by the addition of characters, friends of the leading lady. I’ve read these books over and over again, often imagining me as Jenny. I read them now for pure nostalgia.

Historia
On an island off the coast of Ireland, guests gather to celebrate two people joining their lives together as one. The groom: handsome and charming, a rising television star. The bride: smart and ambitious, a magazine publisher. It’s a wedding for a magazine or for a celebrity: the designer dress, the remote location, the luxe party favors, the boutique whiskey. The cell phone service may be spotty and the waves may be rough, but every detail has been expertly planned and will be expertly executed.

I’ve read this book a hundred times!

I love how the story is told from the different character’s perspectives. Each of them had compelling backgrounds and you love to hate the villain - who isn’t exposed immediately. Set with the beautiful backdrop of the islands off of Ireland, it almost felt like “and Then there Were None” by Agatha Christie. Highly recommend this book.
