It’ll be healthy, a wish come true, with a man she believes is the love of her life. Thankfully, she thought ahead when she was younger and froze her eggs for this very moment. Truly Ridiculous

Historia
Ten years ago he killed my son. Today I married him. Ten years ago my darling son Jesse was murdered and our perfect family was destroyed. My strong, handsome boy, so full of life, became a memory, a photo I carried with me everywhere. But today I’m finally close to finding happiness again. My ash-blonde hair has been curled into ringlets. Carefully placed white flowers frame my delicate features. The small, drab chapel has been prettied up with white satin, and there are tiny red hearts scattered on the small table where I will soon sign the register with my new husband.

I Enjoyed This Book
Revisado: 12-03-21
Spoiler Alert: I enjoyed this book. I thought the main character would be seeking revenge for the death of her son. However, the story unfolded in a rather unpredictable manner, which made it enjoyable.

I Hate I Wasted a Credit on This
Revisado: 12-03-21
I love John Grisham and have read or listened to most of his books. The concept of the story is not bad although it unfolded rather slowly. However, the reason I stopped listening to it and decided to write a review is due to the narrator. She was horrible. Instead of acting out the characters, she read the book in an almost monotone. I could not stand her reading after a while and just stopped listening to the book. I received my credit yesterday and would have been really disappointed that I used it on this book if I had not purchased additional credits.

Historia
An unambitious twenty-two-year-old, Darren lives in a Bed-Stuy brownstone with his mother, who wants nothing more than to see him live up to his potential as the valedictorian of Bronx Science. But Darren is content working at Starbucks in the lobby of a Midtown office building, hanging out with his girlfriend, Soraya, and eating his mother's home-cooked meals. All that changes when a chance encounter with Rhett Daniels, the silver-tongued CEO of Sumwun, NYC's hottest tech startup, results in an exclusive invitation for Darren to join an elite sales team on the thirty-sixth floor.

The Best Story I Have Purchased
Revisado: 12-03-21
This is a really good story. The narrator is one of the best I have heard. Although the story has some fantastical elements, it is realistic in many ways and is a cautionary tale for young people in corporate America. I enjoyed it thoroughly.

Historia
Two words: the bullet. That's all it takes to shatter her life. Caroline Cashion is beautiful, intelligent, a professor of French literature. But in a split second, everything she's known is proved to be a lie. A single bullet, gracefully tapered at one end, is found lodged at the base of her skull. Caroline is stunned. It makes no sense: She has never been shot. She has no entry wound, no scar. Then, over the course of one awful evening, she learns the truth.

Disappointing
Revisado: 11-24-21
SPOILER ALERT : so, the main character kills an innocent man to avenge the deaths of her parents. The man’s wife knows she killed him, and the police are fairly certain that she did it, but the police are still looking for the proverbial “big black man” as the person who committed the crime based upon what the victim’s wife said. Meanwhile, the police appear to be letting the main character get away with murder. I find this offensive. I have listened to the author on NPR. Saying that I am disappointed in this book is an understatement.

A porn story masked as a mystery
Revisado: 06-25-21
I got tired of this almost from the beginning. There were so many women and so much vividly described sex that I lost interest early. Fortunately, I listened to the whole story, which had a surprise ending.
The plot was a little thin, but the performer was excellent and the plot twist at the end saved it from being another dismal suspense story.
