Historia
Scouting crews arrive on newly discovered Dandros to find it ripe with life and fresh for colonization. There are no people and no vertebrate animals. But there is one castle, and one statue of a man known as the anomaly. Energy resonates from the head of this monument of times past where instruments and machinery probe the anomaly’s head and its empty keep, the only signs of civilization. It mourns for its love, speaks of its demise, and tells the humble beginnings of Dandros. It is kept under lock and key for the stories it tells.

A unique and captivating story
Revisado: 05-07-23
This story was a unique and surprisingly cute story that made me feel immersed into this world. It really put me through a roller coaster of emotions starting from the very beginning, i was overwhelmed with sympathy for Doug, his fate is in my opinion a fate worse than death. Unfortunately, midway through, Doug lost all favor with me, I'm unaware if that was by design but i waited patiently for a redemption arc, i never got it and before long that sympathy i once had for him was replaced with an anxious desire for him to meet his fate already, which made me feel like i couldn't wait for the end of the book. Upon reaching the end i couldn't help but feel something was missing. The fate of Doug was something built up from the first chapter, so i expected more out of the moment.
overall, this book captivated my attention and entertained me throughout the way. I commend the author for creating this fascinating world as well as subverting my expectations and bringing out so many emotions in me. I also want to commend the narrator Nick Flesher on a job well done in bringing to life all these unique characters.

Fanfiction with a budget
Revisado: 02-27-23
First of all, another stellar performance by Kale Williams. The identity of Jackson Malone was a surprise i didn't see coming, though the identity of Valek wasn't a surprise, the identity of the secondary antagonist really threw me for a loop, so Kudos there. I was drawn to this book, by the plot, but was disappointed to find after 8 chapters all I seemed to be hearing was how attractive the two male leads were, it certainly wasn't enough for me to stop listening, but it did get to the point where i briefly forgot what the plot of the book was. All in all, I am highly invested in these characters and will listen to the sequels.

Historia
At 28, Jamie Gray has realized his dream of becoming a traveling nurse. After years of moving from place to place, he's met so many new people but hasn't formed any true connections. Jamie knows it's time to stop avoiding his life, like he's been doing since the death of his mother; his only family. Moving to the big city of Powell's Point to share an apartment with his best friend is exactly what he needs. It feels like the best time to set down some roots and get into a routine...and maybe, just maybe find love.

Great story, great characters, amazing performance
Revisado: 01-27-23
Not a huge fan of erotica, but enjoyed this book. Fell in love with the characters all played to perfection by Kale Williams. I did feel there were several subplots that were abandoned that could have made this a more enjoyable read, what ever became of Sam? The bad me worried for his well being, but is barely mentioned again. Will Ronan ever get closure from Toby? I hate that Ronan lives with the guilt that he caused their breakup. Lastly I felt the line “Submissive in the bedroom, not out of it” was a great line that was overused. All in this book was an enjoyable read.
