Historia
Margot and James are broken up—for good this time. James made sure of it when he dropped the bomb on Margot: that he doesn’t want kids, ever. Then, on the biggest morning of his life, James—an ambitious lawyer at a high-powered firm—wakes up pregnant. He realizes with dread that he is part of a recent epidemic of men suddenly and inexplicably becoming pregnant. His condition obvious to the higher-ups, James is denied the promotion he was expecting, sending him reeling.

Tired of everything I read or listen to having a political opinion.
Revisado: 08-10-22
This Short story was good. Except I’m tired of everything being used for a political statement. We see enough of it on TV and on social media. But I would like to listen to a book occasionally that is just a good book.

Great series. But please tell me there is more to come. It seems it just ended when more characters were brought in.

Jeannie Vanasco has had the same nightmare since she was a teenager. She startles awake, saying his name. It is always about him: one of her closest high school friends, a boy named Mark. A boy who raped her. When her nightmares worsen, Jeannie decides - after fourteen years of silence - to reach out to Mark. He agrees to talk on the record and meet in person. "It's the least I can do," he says. Tired of people always giving their Political views
Revisado: 10-10-19
I started to enjoy this book. Because I could relate somewhat to it. And I understand her relating our president to her issue. But I’m so tired of authors, celebrities always pushing their political opinions on the public. Stick to your issue and leave politics out. I didn’t finish the book and will be returning it because of it.

Why we think it’s a great listen: Seabiscuit was a runaway success, and Hillenbrand’s done it again with another true-life account about beating unbelievable odds. On a May afternoon in 1943, an Army Air Forces bomber crashed into the Pacific Ocean and disappeared, leaving only a spray of debris and a slick of oil, gasoline, and blood. Then, on the ocean surface, a face appeared....

Heart wrenching!

I wish this kind of true story was taught in our schools. Maybe it would help our younger generations appreciate what their Grandfathers went through.

Not second in series
Revisado: 01-15-12
What reaction did this book spark in you? Anger, sadness, disappointment?
I was under the impression that this was the second book following the book The Lake House. But it wasn't more like a synopsis of the first. I would love a second part of the Lake house. Loved the bird children.
