Wonderfully insightful and inspirational book!

Mother Teresa is a remarkable woman who lived solely for Jesus despite spending the last 50 years of her life in spiritual darkness. This book is an honest telling of the state of Mother’s interior life throughout those 50 years. You will acquire much spiritual benefit from knowing the mind and heart of this simple saint. The narration of the book is exceptional.

Willa Cather is a master storyteller. I so much appreciated her wonderful descriptive recounting of the story and her fine character development. The narrator is excellent. Glad I chose this audiobook!

Excellent piece of work that allows the reader to get into the mind of one of the most influential Catholic leaders. Bishop Baron takes an honest look at the state of Catholicism and religion in general in today’s world,and he lays out a bold strategy to represent the faith in a post-Christian age. This book is wonderfully narrated.

Absolutely awesome!

I loved this book! It reveals so many connections between Judaism and Christianity. I found myself going back several times to let the author’s insights sink in. This is not a book you race through. The extra time I chose to spend with the reading was so worth it. Also, the narrator did an excellent job. I would recommend this book to anyone who wants to know more about faith, whether out of idle curiosity or more serious reflection.

Very enjoyable book

I especially liked listening to the many antidotes scattered throughout the book. Scalia’s reflections give a keen insight into the man’s character.
While there is something in the book for everyone, I suspect that many will find the middle segment dealing with his reflections on the law to be a bit long and dry. It would have been best, I think, to have broken up this segment. That is why I did not give it 5 stars.
Overall though, I’m glad I decided on listening to this book.
