Love the authors relaxing voice. Love how each story is separate but still links to each other in someway. Love how each story paints a picture movie in my head so as I'm listening and I can watch as everything unfolds. I absolutely would recommend everyone that likes eclectic and unusual stories to get this.

Review of Surviving Doctor Vincent

The chemistry between Elaine and Sebastian rises to new heights in book 2. Emotions soar between Elaine and Dr. Vincent with all the new discoveries. Marcus makes a small appearance that keeps Elaine from feeling like she is losing everything. Things unfold more in this story and more mysteries come to light. There are so many more twists and turns and the heat rises even more. Renea Mason, as always, keeps me firmly set in her world and makes the characters feel so real. I am definitely looking forward to book 3 in this trilogy. I can't get enough of Noah and Erin's voices and how they bring this book to life.

Review of Warrior

Alexa King doesn’t really know who she is or where she came from and Dimitri her godfather may be on the path of finding out. When things go amiss in Egypt Dimitri asked Alexa for help along with Zachary Jackson, a professor. More secrets are revealed as more things come to life in the immortal’s history. King and Jackson make a pair to be reckoned with when danger strikes from every angle. In this story you get a glimpse at Yonten, a monk sent to help them. Lives are lost and love blooms strong. A.D. Starrling keeps pulling me into her world deeper with this story. Michael Bower really amazed me how he brought this book to life and gave it voice.

Review of Hunted

Soul’s constantly looking over his shoulder for threats that have been following him his whole life. Then one day Reid walks through his door and is very persistent about wanting to know everything about him and wanting to work with him. Now Soul and Reid are in a race to save the immortals and humans alike from imminent danger with the help of others that want to help Soul and not destroy him. Reid, Soul, and Anna make one heck of a team when they all come together along with quite a few other main characters. A.D. Starrling really drew me in and kept me there. Michael Bower really amazed me how he brought this book to life and gave it voice.

Review of The Warrior Monk

Yonten really captured my heart in King's Crusade with all his laughter, seriousness, and craziness. In this book you get a glimpse of him in the beginning before things go awry. He is a fierce protector with a crazy humor knowing what he should do and what his heart tells him to even if it gets him in deep water with the Abbot. I always love when a writer gives a glimpse into a characters past of how they came to be and A.D. Starrling did an amazing job here. Michael Bower did an amazing job giving this book a voice and bringing it all to life even more.

Review of The Meeting

This short story starts out making you actually think "what is happening" (especially if you haven't read Hunted). I love how it shows the way Lucas and Reid meet and eventually work together, basically how it all began. The Narrator's voice is almost a match of how I heard Soul in my head.

Review of First Death

First Death - This short story was tragic in all accounts. A very young Lucas is forced to watch the death of his family and forced into the realization of who he truly is. There is so much feeling in this short little bit of the beginning of Lucas' life. The narrator did an amazing job bringing this story to life.

Review of My Soul to Lose

This was my first audio book that I listened to all the way through. I really liked how the narrator wasn't monotone in her reading. I would have liked to get more on the story of Emma and the school dance and how Kaylee came into this gift. All in all for this book being free I was quite impressed on the over all story. Kaylee and Lydia's bonding was one of my favorite parts as well as Lydia sacrificing herself for Kaylee.
