Convoluted-Too many antagonists

Plot based on other Oregon stories. Antagonists name change only. Too many 'bad guys'. Each antagonist could have been developed into a great story by itself; but were scrammed into one book. Don't let Mike Maden write any more 'Oregon File' stories and Scoot Brick should have known better.

No, this one was so boring that I feel it would be a waste of time not to mention credit.

Would you try another book from Peter F. Hamilton and/or John Lee?
No if read by John Lee. I found myself drifting off or my mind wondering and have to replay a section to find out what I missed.
How would you have changed the story to make it more enjoyable?
The story isn't the problem. I found the way it was read boring and mind numbing.
Who would you have cast as narrator instead of John Lee?
Nick Sullivan or Richard Poe
What character would you cut from Pandora's Star?
As I said before; I have no real problem with the story, but for a novel 37 hours long the reader should have been a performer rather than just an accurate reader.
Any additional comments?
I didn't finish this book because I continuously fell asleep on it. I would like to know how it ended, but I'll wait to read the book.
