Not what I expected.

There is not enough Sprite in the world to quench the thirst of these characters. This is the horniest fantasy novel I have ever read/listened to. The time spent describing how characters were sexy or needed to get laid would take me out of the main plot. When the story moved to the action it was really entertaining. The concept was original and I did enjoy the characters even though somethings were obviously going to happen killing the will they won't they suspense.

A 30-year-old unsolved murder, a more recent suicide, an inconvenient heart attack - somehow Fletch is connected to all of them, and one of those connections might just shorten his own life.

Different than the others

while I did enjoy the story, it is my least favorite Fletch story. At times it seemed like it had too much going on by the middle of the story, but wrapped things up nicely by the end.
