first..the description says there is a prequel story, there is not. it is only the 4 novels. second...the narration, while not the worst, is on the side of monotone and lackluster. and finally the story, world, and characters are there but there are flow problems with the outline. over all, its a good story worth digesting but with some execution issues

this "bad ending" is bad on so many levels that i had to comment...i must say i love this ENTIRE series but i will choose to simply ignore the final minutes of this book.

just go into it with an open mind..yes i admit there are things that could be way better as far as production choices but ive heard far worse and more confusing cast performances than this one..i completely was immersed in the plot and was able to follow it...i recommend it to any scifi fantasy horror geek alike

ok, to start, I LOVE THIS SERIES!! so much to obsess over, the world building and "magic" structure is spot on and the characters are fully realized AND there are references to Supernatural!! I cant get enough, and that is why I have to say that this was more like a novella. yes its a crucial part of the whole storyline but there was alot of background and filler, I just felt like I wanted more after the momentum and pace of the previous book.... now that im done with that, i still have all the hope for Jesse' final run..my best to you Kory M. Shrum
