Blown Away….. Loved It !!!

I just finished this book….I love listening on audible while having the physical book in front of me and a kitty in my lap ……I rely on as many senses as possible to keep me focused and engaged.
Mad Honey was the #1 selection of our Book Club for this season.
The story came alive the minute I started listening to the voices of the 2 primary story-telling characters voiced by Carrie Coon and Key Taw. They painted my imagination with images I would have never conjured up on my own — and I have a pretty vivid imagination. But they truly embodied the physicality and emotion of exactly who and what I would have hoped I would have imagined in order to bring these people to life.
The writing & story-telling unfolds in a very easy and natural way so that you travel with the turning of each page as if you were there.
I couldn’t have loved this story any more than I did and I was weeping at the end —- it’s also a great education along the way as well as being filled with life-lessons that will hopefully touch your heart and head.
And finally, please listen to the Author’s Epilogue at the close ….to know “the dream” that started this collaboration makes it that much more special — shared by the co-authors themselves.
I’m grateful for this book and will recommend - in fact- I already had and hadn’t even finished the book when I did ….and, without giving anything away, folks were already primed to begin the journey with Olivia and Asher, and Lily and Jordan based on what was shared without giving anything away. Twists and Turns Await — Hope you enjoy.
