Love the characters. Why MUST I USE MINIMUMOF 15 CHARACTERS. Too many rules for me. Doubt if I’ll be reviewing anything else

Terribly boring
Revisado: 07-13-23
If I could return this book I would. I realize there are bizarre Christian groups out there that are extreme to say the least. But I’m tired of the literary tactic of droning on ad nauseum like there’s one on every corner. She lost me somewhere around 45 minutes of browbeating me about the horrible Christian sects. Ten to fifteen minutes is all it takes. AT MOST. most of us have probly met someone we think might be a little off. But this went on and on and on. I nearly fell asleep at the wheel it became so monotonous. I’m cured. No more med Gardiner for me. I think she wrote the unsub series. I forced myself to finish. That was 3 of the darkest murder mysteries I’ve read. I was hoping this would be best ther because my sister recommended her as a great author. NOT FOR ME. I’m returning the book even though I won’t get anything in return. I don’t care. If I believed in burning I’d throw it on the pile. But I don’t and besides we’re under a burn ban. But audible can have this one back. First non returnable book I’ve ever tried to return. I just want it out of my app list of books.

In the grand storytelling style that is his signature, James Michener sweeps us back through time to the very beginnings of the Jewish faith, thousands of years ago. Through the predecessors of four modern men and women, we experience the entire colorful history of the Jews, including the life of the early Hebrews and their persecutions, the impact of Christianity, the Crusades, and the Spanish Inquisition, all the way to the founding of present-day Israel and the Middle East conflict.

It has been said that everyone knows a cancer survivor, but no one has met an Alzheimer's survivor - until now. In his first two books, Dr. Dale Bredesen outlined the revolutionary treatments that are changing what had previously seemed like the inevitable outcome of cognitive decline and dementia. And in these moving narratives, you can hear directly from the first survivors of Alzheimer’s themselves - their own amazing stories of hope told in their own words.

Full of surprises
Revisado: 04-18-23
Not a predictable ending. I loved that. But I despise the literary device of multiple first person narrators taking turns telling the story their point of view. I prefer one narrator character. But the story itself was great

Historia
Olivia McAfee knows what it feels like to start over. Her picture-perfect life—living in Boston, married to a brilliant cardiothoracic surgeon, raising their beautiful son, Asher—was upended when her husband revealed a darker side. She never imagined that she would end up back in her sleepy New Hampshire hometown, living in the house she grew up in and taking over her father’s beekeeping business. Lily Campanello is familiar with do-overs, too. When she and her mom relocate to Adams, New Hampshire, for her final year of high school, they both hope it will be a fresh start.

Hate books where multiple characters do the narration in turns bouncing back forth in time. Girl on train did the same. I’m not even sure why I finished. Don’t read this unles you want a head FIL of minutiae about beekeeping
