This series keeps getting better. I really enjoy each new development and the way it intertwines with the other series. Hope we see them fully connect at something soon.

New favorite in the LitRPG genre

The author takes a refreshing new approach to a MC. The story unfolds in a captivating way, skill progression and leveling in litrpg done right while complimenting the plot and options available to the group. You get exposed to the progress of characters all along the growth spectrum while being wrapped by the MC's origin story and potential.

Not your typical "The Land" title

I will start by saying I read the reviews prior to purchase, and knew what I was buying into. That said, it's easy to say, this was my least favorite book of this series. I listened to it mostly out of loyalty to the overall storyline. I am not an author and I imagine that its like most creative endeavors, once you find success, repeating it becomes more and more challenging, and creative energy has to ebb and flow. The delay on this title, and the start of another book series make me concerned that the passion for this series has fallen off. This book literally spends thousands of words describing new game mechanics and character development choices which stall all storyline progress. The prior books in this series make you fall in love with a cast if characters, city development, and adventures. This book is set in a desperate scenario that only marginally improves through vast benefits of the main character's leveling and progression bonuses. Ultimately, very little to this book was enjoyable. LitRPG game mechanics structure, and a long tirad on diarrhea take up too much of the limited content even if it got a rise from my 12 year old inner boy humor and over the top "what if scenarios".

Nice story of an early world/dungeons development

The humanity of this story line was compelling. An interesting take on a pacifist dungeon which sounds oxymoronic, but it works. Audiobook version gets weighed down by the stats read outs in every development stage. While I enjoyed the book, it feels like the first 3 chapters of an adventure novel that were drawn out to the point of borderline boring. Only upside was the companionship that was found eventually.

The characters and storylines included in this series has set a new bar. I have listened to this series 5 times and cant wait for more. Simply the best out.

5 chapter book, good start, but too little content, no depth of characters or resolutions provided. Use of plunder excessively, and the story lacked imaginative control. Sappy savior Dom story.

Would you listen to Plunder again? Why?

This book's sample made me buy it. If you listen to the parts of Eva played by Mira Noire and aren't aroused, you might not have a pulse. The part is excellent, witty, sexy craved, adventurous young lady with a mouth that entices every guy.

Would you be willing to try another book from Peter Rawn Klein? Why or why not?

Yes, Peter Klein is a good author, I enjoyed the consistent perspective in this book. I would have loved for him to explore more of the psyche of Eva.

Which scene was your favorite?

The spanking demonstration was my favorite. The monologue turned duel story telling they did together about why to spank a girl was excellent. I didn't expect it to be the reason for the title, but it was well worded and struck a nerve for both me and my partner.

Was this a book you wanted to listen to all in one sitting?

Yes, I hated stopping.
