Historia
With the Builder threat behind them, the time has finally come for Jason and his team to hit the road. Eager to get back to the adventuring he’s been longing for, Jason is excited to not be at the center of world-changing events. But before he goes, one last attempt to pull him into politics has him leaving Rimaros with a strong final impression. With new places to visit and new people to meet, the remnants of recent events have scarred the land and left lingering dangers behind. It's a busy time for adventurers willing and able to fight with monsters.

There's a lot to love, but...
I'll be honest and say I was disappointed in the long descriptions of events. It's the job of the author to set the scene, and the job of the reader to imagine it. We readers don't need the scene to be described in so many details that the entire 28-hour book amounts to a single battle and a ton of dialogue. Please, let the readers infer more, and, if you're feeling generous, speed the pace up in book 10. Love ya!

The main character is edgy in the worst way
Revisado: 04-08-23
The mc is unintelligent. He has no people skills. The author forces scenarios to work, despite them being unrealistic and making the character even more unbearable to follow.
"Let's go into melee distance of this nasty creature just so I can fight like wolverine!" There's a thing called self-preservation, and even stupid people have it.

Historia
A man. His ex-girlfriend's cat. A sadistic game show unlike anything in the universe: a dungeon crawl where survival depends on killing your prey in the most entertaining way possible. In a flash, every human-erected construction on Earth - from Buckingham Palace to the tiniest of sheds - collapses in a heap, sinking into the ground. The buildings and all the people inside have all been atomized and transformed into the dungeon: an 18-level labyrinth filled with traps, monsters, and loot.

Never have I EVER!
Revisado: 07-10-22
This book makes me shiver in pure pleasure, and the ratings suggest you will too.
What you're getting:
The story contains the gloriousness of adventures had in D&D.
The narration is the juiciest, most alive, most immersive I have heard in my 200+ Audible titles.

Historia
The apocalypse will be televised! You know what’s worse than breaking up with your girlfriend? Being stuck with her prize-winning show cat. And you know what’s worse than that? An alien invasion, the destruction of all man-made structures on Earth, and the systematic exploitation of all the survivors for a sadistic intergalactic game show. That’s what. Join Coast Guard vet Carl and his ex-girlfriend’s cat, Princess Donut, as they try to survive the end of the world—or just get to the next level—in a video game–like, trap-filled fantasy dungeon.

The principles are sound, but structure is important too. Balance. Chaos and order. Give the book a chance.
