Historia
Seven Days in Augusta is a celebration of what makes the Masters singular and iconic, from the par-3 contest to Amen Corner to Butler Cabin. Mark Cannizzaro goes behind the scenes of the exclusive competition, covering wide-ranging topics including green jacket rituals, tales from The Crow's Nest atop the clubhouse, the extreme lengths some fans have gone to acquire tickets, and what goes on outside the gates during Masters week. Features some of the most memorable and dramatic moments from the tournament's history, this is an essential, expansive look at golf's favorite event.

Accents…
Revisado: 08-26-21
It’s a bit repetitive, you will hear the same accounts a few times in the same book, but referring to Ernie Els as South American, once, and Faldo as a two time Masters champ was jarring. And to the producers, don’t encourage accents, this narrator can’t do South African, English, Spanish, Northern Irish accents… McIlroy doesn’t sound like Westwood after all …and that got annoying. Best to listen to this one chapter at a time.

Historia
Surprisingly, one of sport’s most contentious, complex, and defining clashes played out not in the boxing ring or at the line of scrimmage but on the genteel green fairways of the world’s finest golf courses. Arnie and Jack. Palmer and Nicklaus. Their 50-year duel, in both the clubhouse and the boardroom, propelled each to the status of American icon and pushed modern golf to the heights and popularity it enjoys today. Yet for all the ink that has been spilled on these two essential golf figures individually, no one has ever examined their relationship in this way.

Good, but the narrator? Meh...
Revisado: 01-17-18
Really enjoyed this book, but the narrator read it like English wasn't his first language. Makes it a 3 star rather than a 4 star recording.
