A helluva chapter to the story.
I feel as rung out as Wick after this chapter.

Its a emotional experience and you’re as tired as the team at the end
Can not wait for the next chapter

McGill strikes again

I cannot get enough of this character, he truly is the trickster genie.
Might-be reading too much into this, but the book reads as aa setup for a bigger story coming along.
Personally I cannot wait for him to take a fleet to the core worlds and confuse, stir the pot some.

Goes nowhere ..fast

Luke Daniels does a great effort in taking a story going nowhere fast and giving it his all.
Sadly, not for me and i just could not carry on with this- had to put it down.

Oh Lord its Peter Prova again....Run, run, run

Peter Prova is a specialist in torturing the subject and if i was Luigi Padovesi i would probably insist on a new narration.
did the narrator even do a bit of research on the subject or was he even bored when briefed on the ask.
at the very least i now have identified one narrator to absolutely avoid at all costs.

Terrible-Horrible- Run don't walk

Luigi Padovesi has a good grasp on the Subject and had it been any other narrator then it might have stood a chance.
However, Peter Prova completely, totally and utterly devastates the book and tortures the subject matter. If his voice droned on then at least you could fall asleep.
Does Peter Prova even know the first thing about NLP - there is No Tonality, No Spirit, No Variation - i would go so far as to say he was utterly bored out of his mind with this narration.
No i could not get past chapter 3- i had to drive to a sales meeting and had to switch to another refresher or drive off a cliff.

Mc’gill at his best

I sincerely hope that B.V. Larson keeps this story going and carries on with it.
It’s thoroughly enjoyable and still puts a smile on my face as i go through each episode.
Characters are enjoyable and grow with each story and every step of the intricate web he weaves for them.
And that web is getting more intricate and interesting with every story.

Would you listen to Warship again? Why?

i literally couldn't put this down (stop it playing) the last half of the book.

What other book might you compare Warship to and why?

Comparable to Jack Campbell's lost frontier and Stephen Moss "fear the sky"

Have you listened to any of Mark Boyett’s other performances before? How does this one compare?

yes - BV Larson's Undying Mercenaries.
And yes he remains that good.

Very enjoyable and fast paced ride

What made the experience of listening to Constitution the most enjoyable?

So a lot has been said about this being a Battlestar Galactica re-hash, and yes similarities exist and some inspiration was probably drawn from it. That said this is a story on its own and the similarities stop at the Captain and EXO's personalities and failings.
Well worth the purchase of a SCI-FI Opera Fan.
This story has legs and can go places in the seat of you pants suspense and fast paced story line category.

Did Greg Tremblay do a good job differentiating all the characters? How?

Overall as the majority of characters are male he does reasonably well - especially with the gruff personalities he portrays. Though he seriously lacks in the portrayal of the female characters like Shelby Procter

Any additional comments?

Keep it up Nick Webb- though take some time developing the suspense some more.
Delve some into the science and the limitations of fleet - create more intrigue with the government, the Russians and Swarm.
Throw in a view curve balls and you have a good recipe.

Brilliant must read, cant wait for the movie. Hoping its a good adaptation.
A absoluutly brilliant mix of science fact and good story telling.
Mr's Asimov & Clarke would no doubt have had good things to say of this writer and story.
Naration is also just as praiseworthy.
