I loved the quality of the story and of course the remarkable narrator who brings the story to life. Jody Taylor never disappoints.

This is a good book with a good story but it is part of a trilogy. The problem is that the ending of the trilogy is the worst ending of any book I have ever read and I read a book every day. Some reviews of the third book will tell you it’s great and it’s about redemption and bla bla bla… spoiler alert she chooses the evil villain over the hero. I personally believe the author sat in an interview with a sociopath and narcissist and decided to write him into her book. My sister’s ex boyfriend literally said the same exact words the author wrote for his redemption speech. That was two weeks before he threatened to kill her for leaving him and a month before he tried to steal her son and now he is stalking her. Leaving little things around the property so we know he’s been there… you get the idea.
This ending is so bad it would be like that moment after 10 seasons of Bones where Palant has prevented Bones and Booth from getting married and he has killed Bones friend and Booth’s FBI buddy in horrible gruesome ways and Bones is going to go to jail for the murders and they are standing out side the church after Christine was christened and Booth goes for the car and a car pulls up and Bones get in and drives away and goes into hiding. Well in her version it’s not her dad in the car it’s Palant. It’s just twisted

I think the author need needs to see a psychiatrist and get some counseling

Sorry but the main reason why people don’t like the book is because they have been abused or know someone who has been abused. My ex used the exact same words as Devlin over and over. He got on medication to help him control his bipolar disorder and he even went to a counselor. He got better and became reformed. Everyone was so happy. Too bad his reformation was when he started molesting my children, but he was so much better and he recovered and bla bla bla….
The author could have written Devlin’s dialogue from an interview with just about any “reformed” abuser out there. There are people in this world that have reformed but that number is so small as to be inconsequential when compared with the number of men and women who say all the same sweet words as this character and do the same sweet things and then turn around and start up again a month or so later. We don’t like this book because it is like telling young girls this kind of thing is acceptable.

A great little story with everything Jodi Taylor promised, Toast, adventure, and checking in with all the characters we've grown to love through the years. Like visiting old friends!

It is a compelling story, well written. it keeps you guessing. As always you can never miss with Zara Ramm as the narrator. She is miles ahead of the other narrators!
Thank you for a superb story, well performed by Zara Ramm. most intriguing story I've listened to in years!
My only negative is the "f" word. I got a bit tired of hearing it, I get tired of hearing it when I'm around 16 year olds who have had a bit of a rough time. so I just kept listening because the language, in this case was typical for the kids in the story.

In the beginning, it drug along and it was a if everyone had lost their personalities. The things the characters did in all of the other books was off, in stead of staying with history(which made it interesting), everything went to hell in a hand basket and no body really did or said much about it. It was not in sync. Since when did St Mary's just sit back and let strangers just take over and change everything? especially if they were grieving.
I didn't care for it, it felt as though Jodi let someone else write the first part of the book.
About half way through the book Jodi finally remembered who she was writing about and it became recognizable as a St Mary's story.

it was a good book. it finished the series well. Hopefully however, before Caitlin narrates again though she will learn how to pronounce words like "didn't" its not di'ent. fortunately there weren't a lot of those words in this book so, not as distracting. The action scenes were well written and well narrated.

What a disappointment! Riley became an idiot talking to much at all the wrong times. he's suppose to have been doing this for a long time and yet he walks into a trap even the 16 year old knew was a mistake. personal conversations at stupid inappropriate times the female narrator hasn't in 3 books learned to pronounce the letter "t" in the middle of a word. I had to walk away several times to get through the book and the last 2 chapters..... horrible! if I listen to the other books it will only be because they come with my plan and cost nothing. Julie Kagawas Iron fey series was good. and worth being best sellers. talon series is not.

There were times when I thought, Yada Yada Yada talking too much, and to repetitive, and it didn't need the f*** bomb. I was listening to it with kids in the room and was surprised with it. Not a happy surprise. Having said that, it was a good story but not quite up to 'Talon'.

A nice story staring Robin Goodfellow and the young Prince Ash, from the winter court. it gives an insiders view of their long time relationship.
