Highly Entertaining
Revisado: 10-11-18
I believe the paperback of this book will be out in April 2019.
I listened to this little gem on audible and I highly recommend you do the same. This book is read by the author and I wish she would sign up to read a lot of the audible books because she is so entertaining!! I LOVED this book!! It's not a long book and would be great for a daily commute. She will have you laughing out loud. The book is about her life and growing up living in a library. I can't imagine a better place to live!! If you are looking for something light, entertaining and fun, then this is it.

Would you recommend this audiobook to a friend? If so, why?
This is a practical book about taking ownership for your life, your circumstances and identifying excuses and obstacles you might be creating to keep yourself stuck. The book offers valuable insight and good solutions for identifying failures and limiting beliefs and turning them into valuable experience you can use to learn from and apply towards a better future. I really enjoyed this book. I listened to it on audible, but will probably purchase the kindle edition as well to make highlights for future reference.
What was one of the most memorable moments of It's Not My Fault?
I like the examples of excuses they offered. It gave practical insight that is often overlooked or by passed.
What about John Townsend and Henry Cloud ’s performance did you like?
I like the sound of his voice. Clear and authentic.
Was there a moment in the book that particularly moved you?
I like the last chapter summary.
Any additional comments?
I really appreciate that they put so much good information in the book and that it is practical, down to earth and non-judgmental. They offer real insight and hope to those wishing to improve their lives and relationships and it's all doable.

Walking in This World picks up where Julia Cameron's best-selling book on the creative process, The Artist's Way, left off to present readers with a second course, part two in an amazing journey toward discovering our human potential. Full of valuable new strategies and techniques for breaking through difficult creative ground, this is the "intermediate level" of the Artist's Way program.

A Book for the Creative Person
Revisado: 02-07-18
What made the experience of listening to Walking in This World the most enjoyable?
Julia Cameron is a great source of information and bundled creativity. She offers practical solutions to getting unblocked creatively. This book follows some of the same steps and suggestions as "The Artist's Way." which is another of her books. Each chapter is encouraging and offers practical insight with a few funny quotes thrown in.
What was one of the most memorable moments of Walking in This World?
I admit I laughed out loud when she mentioned finishing a "work" that you've been immersed in for some time such as writing a play or novel. She said, "find ways to be alone and allow yourself to come down from being immersed in that other world. You don't want your friends to think you've recently survived being abducted by aliens. We are all a little weird we're coming down off of a long creative experience." I couldn't have said that better myself.
Have you listened to any of Barbara Caruso’s other performances before? How does this one compare?
No
Was there a moment in the book that particularly moved you?
I love her practical advise and encouraging words. Her sharing of her personal experiences is wonderful.
Any additional comments?
I really appreciate Julia's approach to things and her advice for staying unblocked and taking care of your spiritual and creative self is solid. I recommend this book for the creative and struggling person who needs a boost and some solid habits to put in place to be the best creative and insight person they can be.

Truly Invaluable Information!
Revisado: 01-05-18
If you could sum up The 15 Invaluable Laws of Growth in three words, what would they be?
I got this book on Audible and after listening to it, decided I need to get a copy so I can better keep notes. This is a great book about personal growth. There is a lot of really valuable tips, and useful information to get up on your way to growing as a person and then applying the knowledge to use in every day life. I also love John's occasional funny, but to the point quotes he throws in along the way. Another valuable thing he includes in the book are some of the people he has read, quotes that have changed his outlook and that he has applied in his life and book titles and authors that have helped him to become the person he is. As a seeker of knowledge I love it when authors do this because I always look up the people they reference and the books they've read as well. This is well worth the read or listen, or both. I have ordered my hard copy of the book and when it comes in I will be going back through it to pull more of the information so I can reference it and apply it in my life.
What did you learn from The 15 Invaluable Laws of Growth that you would use in your daily life?
There are a lot of valuable lessons and suggestions for ways to grow and change your outlook so that you are more receptive, asking the right questions and aligning yourself with the right people to help you grow.

Despite constant efforts to declutter your home, do papers still accumulate like snowdrifts and clothes pile up like a tangled mess of noodles?Japanese cleaning consultant Marie Kondo takes tidying to a whole new level, promising that if you properly simplify and organize your home once, you'll never have to do it again. Most methods advocate a room-by-room or little-by-little approach, which doom you to pick away at your piles of stuff forever.

Wonderful book!
Revisado: 02-21-17
I usually don't finish organization books, but that's not what this book is. This book offers a practical and freeing approach to the mess life sometimes gets in too. I am very appreciative of the authors insight and honesty. For the first time I am excited about attacking the clutter and stuff I have inherited from other people and making a difference! I highly recommend this book. It's a quick listen and the narrator has a very pleasant voice.
